Jesse The Poet (born June 29, 1994) is a Canadian Pop/R&B Singer who is rapidly emerging into the Music Industry.  Toronto-born Jesse The Poet, is a soulful artist who inspires people through his music and leadership.  Jesse is well known in his city for his uniqueness, genuine personality and spirituality.  His music embodies everything he stands for (spirituality, love and peace), each song has clever wordplay and sparks thought in the listener.

  Jesse identifies as “The Poet” as he feels Poetry is a beautiful form of art where people use awesome sequences of words to teach powerful lessons and connect with people’s emotions.   He feels Poetry has been in the shadows for the last decade and he wants to remind the world of the beauty and power of Poetry.   Jesse uses his music as a platform to connect with his fans and provoke emotion in the listener.  

Jesse’s personal favourite artists are Majid Jordan, J. Cole and Kanye West. 

 Jesse’s debut single “Mama Said” releases on June 29th 2017, the song features Dallas Hill (Artist/Producer/Engineer).  This Upbeat Dance song tells a story of a Lady who seems to be trouble for Jesse, he is unable to resist and follows her blindly to an unseen future.  The single is guaranteed to provoke thought, make you feel uplifted and get you off your feet to dance!
