Binary Algorithms, Robert Cosmic, /DL/MS/, jadzia, and Saigg – five indispensable protagonists of a new electro VA series — plug back into the wilderness. In line with its FTA_VA02 — Building Bridges, Breaking Walls — statement, Furatena unveils a new compilation series that reinforces cross-scene collaboration and brings the label back to its roots: futuristic, yet dancefloor–focused electro break–beats.

AX/{v1} opens with the most remarkable and long-awaited unreleased track by Binary Algorithms: "En Mi Barrio" showcases pulsating acidic basslines, metallic, hard-hitting snares, arpeggiated synth shots, and — as a final flourish — Robert Cosmic’s tell-tale vocal delivery crowns it all, shaping a massive, classic electro hymn. Next up, Furatena welcomes Vienna based Trust-affiliated duo /DL/MS/: "Regressive Behaviour" introduces an intricate sound design, textured basslines and crescendos of noise in constant tension that carve through hammering 808s and chrome-laced, blurred vocals.

The second half is followed by jadzia, who returns after three years with "Hybrid State," a 140 BPM heater: glitched, synthesized percussion trace a razor-edged bassline, while a cracking, driving kick and grainy pads descend into obscure, psychedelic electro. Closing the four-tracker, Furatena’s associate Saigg signs off with his very own signature — "Gladiator" delivers bass-driven pulses and bubbling tones that slice through reverberant atmospheres and veiled melodies, dissolving into a shadow-drenched sonic field.

Pride Or Die is Dalmata Daniel’s next fundraiser compilation released in solidarity with Budapest Pride.

In March 2025 the Hungarian Parliament rewrote the country’s assembly law, tightening the rules for all public demonstrations — but with wording clearly aimed at shutting down Pride. The amendment threatens marchers and organisers with fines of up to €500 and lets police deploy facial‑recognition systems. It follows a 2020 ban on legal gender recognition and the 2021 law censoring LGBTQ+ content for minors.

Meanwhile, the government continues to target civil organisations more broadly, signalling an even darker outlook for the future of democratic rights and community spaces in Hungary.

To answer this attack on basic civil and queer rights, Dalmata Daniel teamed up with 34 artists from Hungary and across the globe to contribute exclusive tracks. The result is a diverse, powerful collection that channels solidarity, resistance, and care through sound.

All proceeds will be donated to the Budapest Pride Foundation.

Info: For our next physical release, FERMA proudly welcomes Fragedis. A driving force in the local underground for over two decades, Fragedis is renowned for his eclectic, genre-blending, DJ sets and productions. Staying loyal to the craft and deeply committed to the culture, he is also co-hosting Healthy Summer in Crete, one of Greece’s most revered festivals for authentic rave culture.

This release features six tracks that perfectly encapsulate FERMA’s sound identity and forward-thinking vision. The A-side opens with “Teras”, an atmospheric piece with immersive vocals that lay the foundation for the journey ahead. “Thrust Reverse” cranks up the intensity with industrial-driven arpeggios, primed to ignite the dancefloor. Closing out the first side is a stripped-down reprise of “Teras”, reimagined by a legendary artist who has shaped the Athenian industrial sound - true name strictly confidential.

Flipping to the B-side, “Live in Lies” drifts into deeper territory, weaving atmospheric pads and trancey synth sequences for introspective, eyes-down moments. Bringing it all home, “Fasaries” delivers an electro spinoff that rounds out the release’s sonic character and journey.

On one side, the retro-futuristic elegance of Commuter, nourished by the first vibrations of electro and a fascination for Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. On the other, the dark, cinematic world of EKATA, a London resident and explorer of dystopian grooves inspired by science fiction. These two distinct trajectories converge on the split EP signed to Rennes-based label Ethos Records, due out on 27 June.

The project features four tracks, two from each artist, highlighting singular interpretations of electro: Commuter delivers pieces where sharp melodies and impeccable rhythms dialogue with new wave and EBM influences.
