Snuff Crew is a mysterious collective from Germany, founded in 2008. Their sound is mainly influenced by Chicago House, Acid and Oldschool Techno. Since the first 12″on Marco Passarani's label Nature Records, they have released lots of records and remixes on labels like BPitch Control, International Deejay Gigolo Records, Killekill, SCI+TEC, Hour House Is Your Rush, Playhouse and others. They also made remixes for artists like Billie Ray Martin, Hard Ton, Robert Owens, Luke Solomon, Jack The Box, Remute, Franz + Shape and many many more…

We are back in action and happy to share the snippets of our next release from Artem Lastname. Artem is no stranger to the label having previously released Priorities EP back in 2022. His fresh addition on FERMA’s catalogue, Less Chance EP brings a variety of tools for multiple dancefloor occasions. The release roster is topped up with Buzz Kill, head of Dionysian Mysteries, who delivers a faithful to his killer style remix along with berlin-based talent Parand with a unique and everchanging remix.

Since its inception in 2020, Italo Moderni’s energy, spirit and inspiration has been the dancefloor. The darkened bunkers of Belgium, the trembling speakers of Valencia, the warming dawn of Rimini, these influences have been the lifeblood. Solidifying this tireless effort, Mellow Bangers Vol 2 is the label’s most ambitious collection to date.

In celebration of the imprint’s fifth anniversary, fifteen artists gather with every single one united under a rallying cry. From across the globe, machinists have been drawn together to deliver a statement of acid and wave, of electro and synth with flourishes of italo. The shadowy fringes of the floor are well represented, audio artisans like Cyrk and Djedjotronic serving distorted drums and melodies dripping with menace. Brightening these tones are the likes of Lauer with his Balearic infusions or Gravedad Cinética’s otherworldly “Fake Atmosphere.” Amongst the litany of talent are musicians who have both inspired Italo Moderni as well as those who have appeared on the label. Antoni Maiovvi fits such a description, the sound sorcerer slicing beats through bittersweet bars in the immersive “Stopping Power.” Ceaselessly developing the Spanish scene, Iberian artists are rightly showcased. Madrid’s David Poziano offers the cascading luminance of “In Search of Gold”, shimmering synthlines punctuated by breathy samples and pulsing percussion. New discoveries rub shoulders with established veterans, E-Bony’s bending and undulating “Brain U.F.O.” beside rising names like Ivan Pavletsov with the steely “No Future” and DjBoeing with the beaming joy of “Cheetah.”

Mellow Bangers Vol 2 is a breathless expression of the floor. A contemporary imagining of the racing rhythms and addictive hooks of the 1980s and 1990s. Fifteen works that summarise what Italo Moderni is and will continue to be.

5ZYL Bio

Zygimantas Dzikevicius aka 5ZYL hails from the vibrant urban district of Pasilaiciai in Vilnius, Lithuania. Since embarking on his musical journey in 2007, Zygimantas has been deeply influenced by the raw energy of old-school rave, breakbeat, and techno. His early work focused on crafting dubstep and jungle tracks, earning him spots as a dj at various underground parties and open-air events, including the renowned broken rhythm sound festival, Satta. In late 2019, he adopted the alias 5ZYL, a name that quickly garnered attention from influential figures such as Jensen Interceptor and local talent scouts from PPP and PZ Records, leading to a series of acclaimed EP releases.

● As our sixth release, we are extremely excited to present a release from Italian producer Golden Virgo with stunning remixes from the familiar 6SISS and X-Truder.

Unlogix is a sonic journey into the depths of an imaginary aquatic landscape, built through dark textures and complex architectures of modular synthesis. The EP explores the dialogue between the organic and the synthetic, using exclusively analog gear to generate hypnotic rhythmic patterns, liquid environments, and submerged harmonies. Each track unfolds like an autonomous yet interconnected current, evoking underwater ecosystems, abyssal frequencies, and fluid movements that defy linear logic.
The result is a dense and layered sonic narrative, where sound becomes living matter in constant transformation.

Zeta Reticula - Distress Signal [MTRON043]

No Hope, No Fear is a new vinyl series in our catalogue combining 4 artists and a nod to the legendary Slovenian band Borghesia and our apocalyptic times.

Swedish duo Harlem Electronics is responsible for the meaty opening track Versausage, where minimal wave meets industrial funk. Fear side is rounded by American Kri family member Ole Mic Odd, returning with his signature haunting electro gloom.

Hope side doesn't necessarily offer hope but sure does help with escapism. Slovenian partner in crime 198319831983 gives an apt comment while twisting electro and EBM on Trustno1. The record finishes on a "high" note with the legendary Cute Heels ft. Duke MC Herton for peak-time club decadence. No Hope, No Fear!
