Ventura, CA’s Shelby Figueroa is a dynamic musical talent.  With a powerful, crystal-clear voice reminiscent of songbirds like Joni Mitchell and Joanna Newsom, she stirs the emotions of her listeners as she effortlessly moves from a velvety whisper to a fierce roar.  A gifted pianist and storyteller, Shelby’s songs blend dark pop with a classic beauty. All of the performances on her debut EP Highwire were recorded live, under the watchful eye of producer Shane Alexander at his newly unveiled Buddhaland Studios.
