A slow, expressive etude. There is a beautiful duet between right and left hand. However,  the right hand chords can make it difficult to hear, unless the chords are played really soft. We expect etudes to be fast and loud, as most etudes are, but Chopin's genius presents us with a different challenge: play the chords soft enough, as background harmonic support, in order for us to enjoy the duet.
