Gab Rhome lays his dusty sunset tracks upon us with a stunning 2-tracker, Jeunesse Doree EP. Playing with a natural tone and very organic vibe, ‘Rapheal’ sets us straight down in the middle of the Persian desert, with warm tones gliding through the cool night air, pushing, pulling us along as is breathes an arid ambience. The strings quiver, catching us as the pads pulse slowly. The energy slowly and steadily drips; consistent and contagious, though these are not your peak time bangers, these were meant for something more, something magical. ‘Victor’ opens straight up with a deeper groove, shaking off the dust. Dissonance spreads throughout the atmosphere, leaving a tension hanging in the air, elegantly dissolving and reassembling as the track drives on. Again, the organic tones give the track a startlingly rich and tactile feel that reaches the soul.

Progressive Tracks

We feel really good to bring on the Argentine producer Nicolas Petracca to our roster here at PHW Elements, as he’s been one to watch over the past years with his quality deep progressive music. Over the past year he’s got numerous plays by legend Hernan Cattaneo, and what is a better way to get recognition than from the master himself. 

Today he bring on his original “Blast From The Past” through our deep division. With warm melodic arrangements, hypnotic grooves and warm evolving pads, he delivers another fine piece of progressive grooves to his already growing list of releases.

On remix duty, we are able to present you another fine line-up. First out the malta bound growing producer Scott Williams who once again return to the PHW Elements family. With his ever growing repertoire of sounds, he this time delivers a truly hypnotic and forward thinking production, as he bring on his full artillery of pads, melodies and grooves to build what we would like to call “a special one”. 

Next up is a debut on the label, as we have the pleasure to present the Argentine producer, known through his music on labels such as Lowbit, Clinique, Soundteller and many more, Ariel AB. With a lovely rolling bass line, efficient percussion and a truly warm melodic atmosphere, he delivers a superb act for us on his debut, we couldn’t be happier.

The 3rd rework is a welcome return from label veteran Mitaric. It’s always great to have him around us, as he delivers over and over again. With a more deep house inspired production, still the progressive way with evolving pads, warm baselines and overall tasty arrangements, he once more proves what a great producer he is.

London based duo Solomon Grey first appeared on Anjunadeep with their much loved collaboration with Lane 8, ‘Diamonds’. They return to the label with John Monkman’s sublime remix of ‘Twilight’.

The remix began life as a bootleg after John heard the original during an episode of The Casual Vacancy on BBC1, which was scored by Solomon Grey. Unaware of their link to Anjunadeep, John sent the remix over and the rest if history!

With early support from Jonas Rathsman, Skream and Lane 8 amongst others, John’s remix is a soaring dancefloor weapon, built around haunting female vocals, a driving groove and emotive atmospherics.

Afterlife and Tale Of Us are proud to announce ‘Realm Of Consciousness’, a 10-piece compilation
expanding the Afterlife totality into a label. The label and events will complement each other with one
aim; to bring the crowd into another dimension of music perception with enthralling production to that
ignite the senses.
The ‘Realm Of Consciousness’ voyage commences with Tale Of Us’ Lies - a fitting introduction with
quivering keys and restrained percussion that engenders an ominous suspense ahead of Monoloc’s
enigmatic industrial techno crunch, Phoenix. Shifting through the haunting chords of Recondite’s dynamic
Murphy’s Law, to the brooding synth of Poseidon by Ukrainian duo Woo York, the realisation of Afterlife
utopia is upon us. The repetitive, mesmerising synth and effective reverb that Somne creates with Triangle
is an odyssey within itself. From there, John Hester’s expertly woven ‘Logan’ is a feverish techno stab that
transverses through the emotional senses, transitioning to Locked Groove’s adroitly crafted Emeralds, to
Ryan James Ford’s ambient, albeit percussive, techno cut Toree Bahrstad. Die Wiederkehr is the outcome
of Obscure Shape & SHDW’s collaboration, which incorporates facets of techno and trance that have
been shaped with real guile and finesse. Mind Against round off the compilation with Gravity - a
mystifying ambience and a fitting title as we touch back down to planet earth.
