Russian duo and Kindisch magicians Tantsui bring back their track ‘Planet Of the Apes’ with a set of remixes from M.A.N.D.Y., M.O.N.R.O.E. and Anthony Georges Patrice. First is M.A.N.D.Y.’s take and the boys deliver an electrified version, with an extra dose of groove to make the track brilliant dance floor experience. M.O.N.R.O.E. keep the tracks elements at bay with an air of minimalism as he transforms the track into a tech-house machine. Venturing into afterhour territory is Anthony Georges Patrice, laying pads out under the percussions to give the track a dreamy warmth and smoothness. And finally, at the very end, the original waits. Reminding us of what Tantsui are all about – deep, subtle vibes and a natural, organic feel.

I am an artist now living in Jacksonville Florida and I have been listening to electronic music since the early days of Tangerine Dream. They were the group whose music most shaped my current taste. In 1985 Patrick O'Hearn came out with 'Ancient Dreams' and in 1989 Michael Pluznick came out with 'Where the Rain is Born' The synth work, percussion, and deeply layered atmospheres on those two cd's captivated me for years. Then in 1993 an explosion seemingly occurred-Young American Primitive came out with his work , Future Sound of London came out with Accelerator and Global Communication with their remix of Chapterhouse 'Pentamerous Metamorphosis' and suddenly this wonderful music was everywhere. I love this music. It puts me in a place I would otherwise not be able to visit.It has been a kind of elegant and secret passport to that place where I find inspiration for my art.  This music is for me a wellspring from which I drink daily. It is always exciting to discover a new artist or find a new track. On Soundcloud I can communicate a bit with the artists themselves which is always thrilling. None of my own peers are into what I listen to. If I go to a social gathering-ie. play poker with some friends if they see me pull out a cd that I have burnt they just put up their hands and make crosses as though they are warding off dracula from sucking the life out of them. I need to find a better card game.
So I am most grateful to the Soundcloud people-the artists and the followers and those who comment. It is nice to know others even in an abstract and surreal way-that is where I seem to hang the most comfortably anyways. Nice to almost know you.

The label has always stayed true to its house roots, but with a rich array of influences taken from the worlds of disco, deep, tech and melodic house. Along the way, Get Physical´s core artists have been joined by red hot new talents including Alinka, Thandi Draai, PAUZA, Yulia Niko, Birds Of Mind, CIOZ and Monkey Safari. There have also been carefully considered forays into thriving house music scenes in Africa, Brazil, Cuba, Croatia and India: dedicated compilations and EPs have highlighted those region's most exciting new talents and given them a global platform. 

The name says it all: Get Physical tracks could hardly be more moving and corporeal. It was true in 2002, and it will be true in 2025 and beyond.
