Verbal Poets is a Maryland based rap group that focuses on delivering impressive lyricism over original beats. Members and contributing artists are from various states and countries. Snake's Kin and Intelligent Dezign produce all Verbal Poets songs with the exception of the song "Guerillaz," which is produced by Infidel. Snake's Kin, Sinner Prophet, Grizzly, Masta Murray and 'Te I.A. contribute vocals. R&B artist, Kola, contributed the hook/chorus heard in "Lavender Girl." Labal-S and Leeroy Destroy of Bloody Monk Consortium contributed vocals on "Combined Forces." Tight Strings contributes guitar work.

Real D a.k.a Ahmad Yousif: Real D was born in Omdurman, Sudan, on March 26 1984.Influenced by the east and west coast rap since the age of 12. Real D has always aspired to make it in the rap industry as a Hip Hop producer since his early days. Highly ambitious and having a devotion and fervent passion for music, he loves to mix his beats with oriental/classical samples and create unique vibes. In 2006, he graduated from musi technic, a private sound engineering institution, in Montreal, Canada, and then took his music productions to the next level. Teamed up with his brother Mega Therium and his associate investor Julien Stephens, he founded RiverNile Productions and built a studio, with in mind a desire to share his love and passion for music and give the world a taste of the original style that embodies his music. It is worthy to note that Real D comes from “Real Deep” because his instrumentals are catchy, emotional and meaningfully deep

Mega Therium a.k.a Abdul Yousif: Mega Therium was born in Omdurman, Sudan on August 22,1981. Influenced by East and West coast styles, just like Real D, Mega Therium is also a natural artist, having studied in Fine Arts at the University of Concordia in Montreal in 2000. He also designed the Rivernile Logo. Mega Therium learned from Real D all the right basics and techniques of Hip Hop productions. From there, Mega Therium created his own style, dark and club vibe instrumentals. Mega Therium has been a priceless help for Real D his music production and always encouraged his little brother to think big and go for the rap game He is best described as a sampler producer, as he loves to experiment and mix with any kind of samples. .. Mysterious, patient and organized, Real D represents the White Nile. On the other hand, Mega Therium represents the Blue Nile, meaning he is fearless and full of surprises. The White Nile and the Blue Nile complete each other, just like Real D and Mega Therium together form a remarkable team. As the White Nile and Blue Nile merge, they are transformed into a strong river; unstoppable, unpredictable and powerful.
