Writing in a multitude of genres such as Bass House, Drum N Bass and Halftime to name a few, Data Roaming is no stranger to diversity. Since the beginning of his project in 2020, he has made leaps and bounds in his production with releases on labels such as Sassinated, Røyalty Recørds, Incursion Recordings. He has also recently joined the 8Ball Audio roster with his debut Drum N Bass EP ‘Healer Of Wounds’. 

Supported by international artists such as Dr Fresch, XBLYSSID and PYROMOTIVE as well as a slew of Australian acts, his network grows by the day. Holding large collaborations with Art Supplies, P A R T I K L, Jack Blom, Tenuous and many more on the way, Data Roaming is only getting started."

Welcome back to the Kinphonics Guest Mix Series, with this weeks feature artist - DKK (AUS)

"DKK has been creating some hefty (low end) waves throughout QLD & NSW over the past few years. Initially embarking on his journey through music and sound as a drummer at heart, playing in various rock and metal bands.. this, accompanied a keen ear for 90’s style hip hop/Boombap. More recent years have seen DKK delving into the deep organic lower frequencies of the Didgeridoo. Naturally, when he got behind the 1's & 2's, DKK gravitated towards the realms of Drum & Bass and 140 flavours. This journey amalgamating DKK’s intricate understanding of rhythm and percussion along with his refined resonance and relationship with the lower frequencies. Heavily influenced by his obsession for the realms lesser known and his strong connection to rhythm, DKK conducts a uniquely diverse and colourful yet deep, (and sometimes a little nasty) atmosphere on any dance floor. These frequencies have been felt throughout QLD, NSW and across the pond in Christchurch, New Zealand. Playing at some of Australia’s finest festivals such as, Elements, Tropical Bloom, Rabbits Eat Lettuce, Amalgarhythmz, plus many more that will have to remain unnamed..
Recently, DKK has got on board with @DataTransmissionRadio. Streaming a monthly 2hr show on the last Saturday of every month. Showcasing his selections, some pre-releases, some freshly released material and even some DUBS, of some of the finest Drum & Bass and 140 on offer. DKK has supported some of the finest in the game - Alix Perez, Dom and Rolland, Monty, Halogenix, Kasra, Enei, Particle, Loefah, Gerry & Stone, K-Motionz, DJ Hybrid, to name a few..

This badman is guarantee to capture the minds, bodies and imaginations of all who embark on his journey through time and bass.. "

A week after Basscamp 2023, and my heart is still brimming with the  energy of that  weekend. I have boundless gratitude to Darcy, Atlanta, and the entire Enigmatic Industries team for making this years Basscamp one that will never be forgotten. This year, they've truly outdone themselves, and it's as if the benevolent deities above have showered us all with their  blessings, painting our days with sunshine and our nights with shimmering stars.

Absolutely incredible weekend with so many bloody awesome humans. I had the joy of meeting countless individuals who had been my "online DJ mates" for some time, rekindling connections with dear old friends, and weaving new friendships that seem as vast as the cosmos itself. It was a weekend filled with electrifying music, laughing til it hurts, and endless banter - a true treasure worth falling over for time and time again (I have so many bruises).

Finally uploading my set to Soundcloud, a gift for those who missed it, a sweet memory for those who wish to relive it, and a harmonious journey for all those in between.

My heart is full of love for the extended Basscamp family, and I can't wait to reunite with each and every one of you. Until then, may your lives be filled with joy and bass so sick it makes you spew!
