Firstly,
I spend weeks on this cover!
I started with this project around 20 December and it took me a couple of weeks before I actually started mixing (so (pre-prudction, I make myself laugh right now XD), arranging and recording) but I finished it and I'm really glad I did.
I used 22 tracks! It was a real challenge. (Actually 23, I added one so I got the 2 seconds before the drum does it's little intro, so it isn't starting right from the bet.)
This is also the first time I mixed with real studio monitors! (They are pretty cheap, only about €140 but for home recording this is perfect.)
Also this is the first time that I mixed vocals in a cover.
I spend a lot of time into making the (bad, believe me!) recording into something listenable.
I mean, this isn't the best vocal track (actually I used 3, panned), definitly not, but it sounds way more better than my dry real voice. (I can't really sing, altough I try :) .)
Also a big thank you to my good friend AutoTune, without you probably would hurt your ears by listening to me. (It was a demo, I thought I would try it and it definitly helped.)

°INSTRUMENTS
-drums: programmed with Ableton Live
-acoustic guitar: Haney or something like that :)
-electric guitar: Schecter California Vintage VS-2
-bass: same as electric guitar
-strings: programmed with Ableton Live
-flute (I suppose it's a recorder.): programmed with Ableton Live

°RECORDING
-audio: interface (Line6 POD Studio GX) and a 'crappy' mic
-video: webcam

°SOFTWARE
-audio software (D.A.W.): Audacity and Ableton Live
-video software: Windows Live Movie Maker

This song was mixed and mastered with V.S.T.-plugins.
