Heidi's creative practice is based on an exploration and intermingling of traditional and non-traditional sound sources. Repertoire of instruments include: piano, clarinet, harmonica, guitar, melodica, synthesizer, theremin, and various sound makers. 

Heidi contributed many of these sounds including songwriting as a former member of the chamber folk trio http://soundcloud.com/cutleri, later in http://soundcloud.com/knife-throwers-assistance,  an eclectic musical collective based in NYC and continues to collaborate in her band: https://soundcloud.com/heidiandthe9feathers But Heidi's first “instrument” was her own voice. From a young age she performed lead roles in operettas and musicals, and although stylistically she has moved on to more avant-garde territories, the quality and range of her voice still hinges on her theatrical roots.

Heidi attended the Institute of Audio Research in New York City, focusing on the process of recording and producing, and went on to record several self-released albums in her home studio, Suki Sound. Her work has been reviewed by labels and blogs all over the globe, applauding her as a unique and exceptionally prolific songwriter and recording artist.

Howl and Moan consists of two members.... Jane and Nel. They met each other at a band's garage rock show and having so many musical inspirations in common, decided to create their own two piece band. The concept was simple.... keep the music simple and do whatever they wanted. Not trying to fit into any sort of easily identifiable hole, the twosome just wanted to create a back to basics, garage rock, DIY kind of project. The songs on this page are some of the fruits of their labors. They may not be radio friendly or always easy on your ears, but the songs have one common thread- fuzzy, dirty rock.

For a decade, Dallas Frasca has not stopped. She's toured the world (including 10 European tours), rocked the iconic Sydney Opera House and major international festivals from the Big Day Out, Falls Fest and Pyramid Rock Down Under, to International Earth Day (Canada) and Les Nuits de La Guitare de Patrimonio (France) with over 1000 shows under her belt. 

Frasca has a Top 30 ARIA charting album under their belt and won many awards including ‘Artist of the year’ at the Independent Music Awards, came 3rd in the International Song-writing Comp (ISC - over 16,000 entries). The band have supported the likes of Aerosmith, Patti Smith and Van Halen and even been endorsed by ‘Slash’ himself; ‘Great vocals, riffs and grooves’! Dallas fronted the legendary Aussie rock band Midnight Oil (with Violent Femmes’ Brian Ritchie on bass) in support of Amnesty International and appeared on Suze DeMarchi’s (Baby Animals) latest album covering The Clash’s classic, ‘Safe European Home’.

A collaboration in 2015 with Ugly Kid Joe was released on UKJ’s first album in 19 yrs album and landed them a #10 spot in the BBC Charts in the UK. Dallas Frasca’s songs have featured in numerous films and their song, ‘Success Is The Best Revenge’ from their 2015 release, ‘Love Army’ was the theme song on the popular TV show, ‘Bondi Ink’. 

The award-winning Aussie rock‘n’roll artist is a stand-out of her class, with an arsenal of ‘heavier- than-the-earth’ live show. On stage she's a mighty presence at the mic. and more. She's on a highway right to the top.

Charlotte Gordon Cumming, the daughter of a Scottish Clan Chief, was born and brought up in the heart of North East Scotland. As a young girl Charlotte loved writing poetry and being outside in big landscapes. Meeting producer Mark Miller Mundy was to change Charlotte’s path. He put her in touch with different musicians so she could learn how to write songs. One of these musicians turned out to be her future husband.

Charlotte’s marriage to singer-songwriter Michael Edwards, of the band Live Wire, enabled her to gain considerable personal experience living and performing in Italy. She then took herself off to New York where she performed her own songs in the clubs and bars of Manhattan.

On returning to London, Charlotte turned her hand to other exploits to help pay the rent. With her dog in the back of her car, she would scour the land finding unusual and interesting artifacts then selling them on to interior designers in London.

Charlotte’s Highland roots, a life-long passion for Africa where she has strong family ties, the African people, their spirituality and the huge landscape all have strongly influenced her musical style.

Because her first album ‘Mindwalking’ has a unique blend of Celtic melody and African rhythms, it seems to have taken on a healing quality.

Charlotte has penned songs for many artists, one of her successes being ‘Soul Sound’ performed by the Sugababes. This song was nominated for Best European Single at the MTV Awards 2001.

Charlotte now lives in a ‘medieval monks’ dwelling’ in Devon, England with husband Nicholas Evans, author of the Horse Whisperer, and their son Finlay, who was born whilst recording and producing Mindwalking in 2006.,

In 2010 Charlotte released a new album ‘The Brave Songs’. This album is inspired by her husband’s new novel ‘The Brave’ and the events of the past two years, when she and her family were in an accident where eating poisonous mushrooms resulted in their near deaths. Completing ‘The Brave Songs’ has inspired her journey of recovery.
