Mintz is a duo made up of Eden Cohen and Rami Shalom from the northern pastoral lands of Israel. They have only been working together for just over a year but already have a fantastically formed sound that trips through ambient, electronica, deep house and techno.
All of that combined together give birth to the collaborated principle of "Mintz" - a harmonic and breathtaking dance music.

Recently Mintz released their debut album, titled ‘Pulse of our Planet’, made in full length with analogue gear in the intention to bring to the audience a conceptual idea that will drift them off during the listening.

"Some Chemistry, born into a globetrotting family that found music to be the closest thing to religion, is a new age nomad and music is his first home. After conducting an amateur drum ensemble over in Burkina Faso, he became a guitar player in several indie-punk bands throughout The Netherlands and ultimately became infected by the intensely hypnotic music of Amsterdam’s underground clubbing scene.
Intrigued by the infinite possibilities and having a taste for leftfield house and techno, he immersed himself into a true ambassador of dance in Amsterdam by the early 2010’s. If he is not in the studio or out DJing, he is on the hunt for new electronic talent and shares his newfound treasures by curating well-respected events in clubs such as Trouw, Studio 80, Marktkantine and cutting edge festivals by Georgies and Next Monday’s Hangover amongst others.
Some Chemistry easily switches between a melodramatic kind of indie house, by the likes of Mano le Tough and the more uncompromising atmospherical sounds of John Talabot. Sometimes he just simply delivers some kind of dreamy italo rave trance. It’s hard to say, but he will always smash it at your party. 'The feel' of music is more important than the quality of the kick, he says. Therfore, he compares his music with the experience of eating a mango.“Difficult to eat, yet incredible tasty.”"

For the next Klangwelt.FM show Kodx label owner and new rave electronica talent Max Dahlhaus is taking things over. Heavily influenced by Krautrock & electronica scientists from labels like Ghostly, Warp or Ninja Tunes Max is bringing some challenging stuff to discover the possibilities and different varieties of noise, beats, tempo and rhythm.

Electronic music is just as fast moving as it’s numerous identifications, genres and subgenres, which are diligently made up for this idiom. One of the young artists defying all those categories and only pledging themselves to the psychoacoustic impact of sound is Max Dahlhaus.

Not afraid of clichés, he is calling on familiar themes within his tracks, allowing the ear to unconditionally engage into the sound.
But from this established base, he is always expanding into something unknown and impassable. Each piece’s development stays completely unpredictable and is therefore picturing an evolution for itself. In their totality, Dahlhaus’s tracks build a consecutive cycle, where each musical improvement is based on previous experiences.

Mononoid is taking over the stage for this months Klangwelt.FM guestmix! Having just released their debut album on Einmusika Recordings & beeing one of the earlier Traum Schallplatten pioneers who all created a today worldwide known blend between techno, melodies & progressive, Mononoid is showing us their recent favourites in this episode.

With recent releases on Einmusika Recordings, Lost & Found, Traum Schallplatten official and their latest remixes on Sisyphon and Proton Music it is no wonder that these two dutch heroes are welcomed guests at every occasion. Their unique mixture of cinematographic and melodic techno forms highly enjoyable rides throughout every night.

Behind Mononoid are Igor and Andy from Groningen, the Netherlands. They took the word ‘Mono’ (as in solo) and the word ‘nooit’ (Dutch for never), which basically can be translated into "never alone".

We have known Undo here for a long time and he is quite one of the most relaxed people we know. His style in mixing electro/ electronica and techno always keeps his unique handwriting and makes him a producer that probably did the style everybody is into now before you heard about it. We had Undo already as remixer on Klangwelt and are happy to have him now on podcast duties for our Klangwelt.FM series.

A key player in the Spanish electronic music scene, Undo has long been a key figure for dance music in Barcelona, and beyond. Now based away from the city, on the beautiful Costa Brava, but still a regular presence at it’s many clubs and festivals, Undo, otherwise known as Gabriel Berlanga, continues to impress with his fiercely individual take on club and electronic music.



Releasing primarily through his own Factor City imprint, Undo’s latest LP, Disconnect, is a colourful, acid-tinged snapshot of an ever evolving mindset. Receiving plaudits and both radio and club play from tastemaker DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Roman Flugel and Erol Alkan, the fifty-first release on Factory City is the dynamic result of years in the DJ booth and full-time experimentation in the studio.

Undo’s music and approach is rooted in melody, and awash in a distinctly European sensibility. Together with Chicago, Detroit or modern-era Berlin, another influence on the musical evolution of Undo remains the often underappreciated Valencia club scene of the eighties and early nineties. In Barcelona, as a young man, Berlanga enjoyed nights out in open-minded clubs that fused every incoming musical wave, be it raw EBM and electro, kraut, post punk or weirdo disco. As a more hardcore sound swept Spain, Berlanga stayed true to the energy established in his early musical experiences, slowly but surely mastering his craft.

"I was told that, when you come back from Burning Man, you often annoy everyone around you because all you do is talk about Burning Man. It's pretty true.

It's not like other music festivals. It encompasses so much more. The music is part of the larger picture of self-expression, through the art, through the cameraderie, through the heat and dust, through lack of clothing, through leaving no trace behind.

While it is fresh in my memory, I've tried to capture that vibe in this guest mix for Klangwelt. 

The tracks are mostly fresh but also reach back almost as far as the inception of Burning Man. The mood gradually builds like a day on the Playa, from cool sunrise, to baking heat, to electric night. I heard many of these tracks out in the desert, either dancing at the Trash Fence at sunrise, or at the impressive Artcars, or in line to get my disco bike repaired.

I hope you enjoy the journey."

SHORT BIO

Born in the city of Lille, Frenchman Clawz SG has been a devout electronic music enthusiast for a very long time. After many years of clubbing his passion naturally flourished, inspiring him to immerse himself even further into the music scene.

It’s only recently however, that his name has started to circulate, becoming synonymous with the current Deep House and Melodic Techno sounds of today. Nevertheless, Clawz SG stays true to his roots and remains an old-school synth aficionado from way back, having collected an impressive selection of numerous analogue vintage synthesizers over the years.

His ardour for producing was originally something he engaged in purely for himself and his friends, however after much support and encouragement he finally decided to take that final step, thus paving way for the birth of Clawz SG. Since then he released with labels like Traum, Steyoyoke, Parquet or Manual and caught some serious attention about his project. 

Though broadening his career will never change Claws SG’s deep-seated morals or values. He’s an individual with strong family ties, even dedicating an entire EP to his family and proudly upholds many noble attributes within all his professional connections, which assures lasting relationships and solid honest partnerships within the industry.

Just having their new Ep out on Berlins Keller Label with features by Aparde and recently releasing for 3000Grad is showing that there is soon more to come by in 2013 formed, duo Brigade. From Techno to Leftfield and Downtempo, those guys bring it on.

This Project is the musical brainchild of Berlin based duo Julius Rülke and Niels Poensgen. Taking their roots from the underground scene as one of the flagship artists of the Keller club and label, their style progresses from techno to leftfield-indie electronica with a new audiovisual show first premiered in 2018. Apart from Keller, the project has yielded numerous releases on labels such as Traumschallplatten, 3000 Grad or Parquet.

His set time went from 4-6 in the morning which explains the unusual transition from danceable and more progressive beats blending into more light and positive loaded music.
