I have been a DJ for over 30 Years mixing all styles of music. I love breaking the rules a throwing a big curve ball when you least expect it. I was resident private hire DJ at the legendary Turnmills nightclub for 12 years and promoted my own nights at many venues throughout London and the south east. Such as... A Club Called Colin, Cake, Spoon, and Illegalnature. I went on to be resident at The Electro Swing Club Southend, Whoops!! The Frohlocker have accrued from a periodical club session of the same name, which was brought to life in Kaiserslautern (Germany) in early 2006. By mixing a wide variety of groovy, breaky musical styles, they didn’t take much time to capture a key position among the local party culture. From the outset, the excellent team play behind the turntables has been complemented by intense studio works, which in turn are regularly tested on the dancefloor. Frohlocker’s own produce reflect the wide variety of influences and breach gridlocked genres. Their well reputated remixes for The Juju Orchestra, The Bahama Soul Club, DJ Farrapo and Dj ClicK and three own maxi releases on Galopp Records brought some attention from all around the globe.

The masterminds behind Frohlocker are Wanja Sälzer and Gabriel Zahn. During the last ten years Wanja Saelzer gained DJing experience in countless localities, beginning with Broken Beat, Big Beat and Trip-Hop. Now as part of Frohlocker, this pays off especially regarding the question whether a tune works out on the dancefloor. From his early days on, Gabriel Zahn enjoyed a musical breeding and is producing music for more than a decade now. Based on experiences in Trip-Hop, Hip-Hop and film score, as part of Frohlocker he is focusing on dance music in the broader sense.

The four DJs’ dedication to their art has led them to make a clean sweep of the DMC World Champion title for four years in the row (2003 - 2006).

C2C consists of 20syl and Greem (from Hocus Pocus) and Pfel and Atom (from BeatTorrent). 

After a decade of teamwork, they dropped their debut EP, Down the Road in 2012. The success of this first project provided a strong foot forward for the anticipated release of their groundbreaking album Tetra the same year.

Critically acclaimed, the record was rewarded four “Victoire de la Musique” (French Grammys) and a Double Platinium Record. 

Features’ enthusiast, C2C has invited several artists on record (Gush, Jay Jay Johansson...) and has shared the stage with major acts such as French poly instrumentalist -M-, while working on iconic remixes (Bernhoft, Vitalic etc.).

Their original music videos F.U.Y.A. and Delta showcases C2C’s neat and eccentric visual esthetic. 

On stage, C2C’s impressive scenography discloses the band’s love for graphic design and visual arts. Their flawless identity and their original sound catapulted the quartet from European’s biggest stages to the Coachella music festival.

Savant mix of Hip Hop and electronic C2C’s has shaken the music landscape and has turned turntabilsm into a pop culture phenomenon.

The Correspondents consist of singer Mr Bruce and producer Chucks. Both growing up in South London, they formed in 2007 and within two years had taken their hi-octane genre-blending dance music from house parties to festival main stages. 

The show that quickly established the duo as one of the best live acts in the UK (The Telegraph's top 10 Highlights of Glastonbury in two consecutive years) has the monochrome clad Mr Bruce singing with force, scatting at speed and dancing like his life depends on it while Chucks takes the audience on a journey through a multitude of genres from jazz and blues to the nether regions of electro and drum’n’bass. 

Their music releases are just as varied in style and influence. Steve Lamaq says of their 2014 album Puppet Loosely Strung that "Every time I think I've deduced what they sound like they start sounding like something different". 2016 will see a flurry of new releases in the build up to their next album with the same smorgasbord of dancefloor friendly musical treats.

Aside from the music itself The Correspondents have become renowned for their videos that are consistently unique in aesthetic and pioneering in technique. The band are renound for making videos created by in-camera, hand made and analogue processes. These range from meticulously hand drawn animations by Mr Bruce himself or collaborations with Naren Wilks who invented a 'composite camera' technique to describe a space in which synchronised multiples exist in a rotationally symmetric, kaleidoscopic dimension! It won them a UK Music Video Award and Best Production at The Berlin Music Video Awards. 

Recent developments have seen the duo expanding their live show to a include a full band with drummer, bassist and organist. And they have teamed up once again with director Naren Wilks to produce a mind-blowing composite camera audio-visual show.
