The rāga saga is a series that acts as a cultural collectiva of our favourite artists from all over, Each raga is an array of melodic structures with musical motifs, considered in the Indian tradition to have the ability to "colour the mind" and affect the emotions of the audience and this journey (raga) comes from a very good friend and deeply talented a musician @toulousemusique who also runs this wonderful label @ltdwlbl

This mix is a fine journey through elegant string pieces, tidy basslines, hypnotic chants, top-notch hi hats, deep atmospheres and… well, listen for yourself.

Our friend is also a strong human being that had an accident and recovered through music, what we mean is he started to work on his record label „Ltd, W/Lbl“ (Limited White Label) and an EP from the hospital. Music is surely a healer.

He focuses mainly on slow emotional tracks with jazz, classical and ethnic touches. He’s worked with artists and labels on his first vinyl release that reissued 4 digital tracks. Make sure to follow his label for new unreleased material.

Die Kuckucksuhr 

Jeden zweiten Sonntag besuchten wir meine Großeltern. Sie lebten ungefähr zwei Autostunden von uns entfernt, auf einem kleinen Bauernhof, im Saarland. Meine Oma war eine ausgezeichnete Köchin und mein Opa ein begnadeter Geschichtenerzähler. Während meine älteren Geschwister sich meistens umgehend ins Spielzimmer verzogen, setzte ich mich liebend gern in die Küche. Dort lauschte ich den Erzählungen meines Großvaters, den blubbernden Töpfen für das Mittagessen und dem regelmäßigen Ticken der alten Kuckucksuhr. Opa gab oft Geschichten aus seiner Jugend zum besten. Er berichtete von seinem strengen Klassenlehrer Herrn Kaufmann, von seinen etwas übergewichtigen besten Freund Uwe, besonders gern erzählte er jedoch, wie er meine Oma kennenlernte.
Die beiden traffen sich das erste Mal beim traditionellen Tanzkurs. Anfangs schenkte sie ihm kaum Beachtung und hatte nur Augen für den Mädchenschwarm schlecht hin, den gut aussehenden Sohn des Bürgermeisters. Mein Großvater war eher ein Durchschnittstyp. Weder besonders groß noch muskulös. Doch er hatte andere Qualitäten, er war wohl ein klassischer Romantiker. Er schrieb viele Liebesbriefe und war Stammkunde im örtlichen Blumenladen. Am Abschlussball forderte er sie dann zum Tanz auf und sie willigte ein. Nach diesem Abend war der Bürgermeister Sohn vergessen und meine Großeltern ein Paar. 
Heute denke ich noch gern an diese Geschichte zurück, mittlerweile sind meine Großeltern verstorben und ich habe eine eigene kleine Familie gegründet. Die Kuckucksuhr meiner Großeltern steht nun in meiner Küche und wenn zur vollen Stunde der kleine Vögel sein Haus verlässt, wird mir ganz warm ums Herz und ein Lächeln breitet sich auf meinem Gesicht aus.

In the Burning Man  of 8 years gone by, a story of two wanderers with a history for cross-pollinating the sounds of yesterday with the sounds of tomorrow found their moment. With a shared taste in gourmet percussion, deep and rare rhythms, and cosmic culture, what resulted was KMLN — one of the most time-bending and pulsating acts currently circulating the global deep-eclectic house dance movement. 

The international shapeshifting duo, KMLN (pronounced “Kameleon”) unites Italian producer/multi-instrumentalist Christopher Tooker and Canadian /producer Shawna Hofmann. Find them singing, playing live bass, percussion,  looping  or guest musicians, you never know what to expect, every show is different. As interplanetary travelers and cultural explorers, the KMLN ship bends reality through sound, moving through tempos with layers and layers of mind altering colors.

Last year alone, the KMLN ship landed in over 21 countries worldwide. Their shows have been experienced at some of the most respected festivals including The BPM Festival, Miami Music Week, Amsterdam Dance Event, Lightning in a Bottle, Global Eclipse, Art With Me, Summit Series, Air Festival, Art Basel, Symbiosis Gathering, Shambhala, Wonderfruit, The Gardens Of Babylon, Subsonic, Meadows in the Mountains and legendaryBurning Man art cars such as Robot Heart and Mayan Warrior.
