Aléx Ho Mégas is the new House moniker of Colorado-based producer fckdsko. So far it’s received positive reviews from John Digweed, Solomun, Roger Sanchez, Ame, M.A.N.D.Y, Agoria, and Paul Oakenfold, among many others.

His first release is "Maenad," which translates directly into "the raving ones" from Ancient Greek. 

The Maenads are the mythological female followers of Dionysus who belong to the Thiasus, the roaming rave that ushered him to his destinations, bringing festivity, madness and ecstasy wherever they went. 

The single is a tribute to this spirit; one of freedom and pleasure seeking - something that was missed while it was being composed during the dark corona winter. 

Funky, jittery acid basslines and bellowing kicks accent the low end on this track, as Latin-house breaks drive the track. 

Ivy-cool drones, and lush, saturated pads inspired by the retro, analog sounds of the Jupiter 8, and CS-80, crescendo and uplift, while the funk of synth stabs and a worldly rhythm section evoke dancefloor frenzy, just like in the mythological Thiasus' that raved wherever Dionysus would proceed. 

Foley sounds, fleeting textures, and the crackles of vinyl distortion texture the track, making listening equally as rewarding on headphones.
