The Meditation Podcast is a free podcast designed to help you benefit from meditation in your everyday life. It is produced by Jesse Stern & Jeane July-Stern.

Our podcast is unique because it uses binaural beats in the audio that actually affect the brain waves, inducing a deep state of relaxation, and a brain pattern similar to REM sleep. This has the potential to bring about profound healing. We have received emails from people all over the world who have suffered from strokes, emotional losses, trauma, anxiety and insomnia, all of whom have benefitted from our podcast.*

We decided to make this podcast to help regular people who want to learn and practice meditation. This style of meditation is non-denominational, and we believe it can be used in conjunction with – or separate from – any church, temple or any set of religious or spiritual beliefs.

Derek Beres is a multi-faceted author, speaker, and podcaster based in Portland, Oregon. He has served in senior editorial positions at a number of tech companies and has years of experience in health, science, and music writing. He regularly speaks on science and media literacy. Derek is the co-host of the Conspirituality podcast.

Alongside David ‘Duke Mushroom’ Schommer, Derek is one-half of EarthRise SoundSystem, which has released three albums and four EPs. Derek has produced records for Six Degrees Records and Vieux Farka Toure. He toured internationally with GlobeSonic and was a regular guest at the legendary Turntables on the Hudson parties and resident DJ of Kollektiv with Karsh Kale. Caitlin Rose has been teaching since 2011 and has studied a variety of yoga styles which make her offerings rich and unique. Every Shaman's Dream offering is a ceremony and opportunity for all who receive the music to create an intention and prayer for their own lives, utilizing the music as medicine.

Shaman’s Dream, Sahuna's multi-faceted music collective, has been at the forefront of the yoga, festival and ecstatic dance music scene, since 1995. As a producer and the musical director he's facilitated hundreds of ecstatic dance/ “live” world music concerts, plus countless live music for yoga classes and ritual retreats.
