For the fifth instalment of our podcast series we bring you an exceptional talent that truly embodies the spirit of electronic music, from his killer productions to his dedication to the craft of djing, his top tier A & R sensibilities, and not to mention his studio engineer and track mastering skills. Bio
Born and bred in southern Italy, Helrad has been a DJ for several years in his hometown where he was heavily influenced by the techno scene.
He thrives on 3 decks playing dance-floor orientated techno with a variety of raw, emotional, funk, and groove elements. Helrad has always been fascinated by the UK electronic music scene with artists such as, Slam, Perc, Rebekah, Ben Sims, Silicon Soul and JoeFarr to name a few. Since 2018 he started his own label, Helrad Limited which is focused on hard stomping techno bangers.
His tracks have been released on User Experience (Joefarr label ), Gradient  (Jamaica Suk label), Stroberload (Jaded London label) and on Drec. His music been Remixed by industry heavyweights such as Steve Stoll, Stanislav Tolkachev, Joefarr and Hans Bouffmyhre.

London Techno Podcast 005 - Helrad

Kang is a Swedish DJ and producer based in Berlin with a deep-rooted love for techno. His sets bring together hypnotic textures, groovy rhythms and driving energy, shaped by global influences and years of craft. Since relocating to Berlin in 2018, Kang has honed a dynamic and evolving sound through cultural exchange and collaboration, building a distinctive take on techno that continues to grow.  This is Kang’s first techno set in over a year, after spending time playing mostly house. Wanting to make it something special, he brought in some of the techniques he often uses in house sets—layering vocals and acapellas, and leaving subtle messages throughout the mix. It took a few days and some frustration to get there, but the result is something he’s proud of.

Originally from Odesa and now based in Berlin, he is a vital member of the queer collective Veselka. Ruslan regularly performs at renowned clubs like Tresor, RSO, OXI, and ÆDEN, as well as legendary Kyiv venues such as ∄ and Otel’. His sets are a ritualistic experience, connecting mind, body, and soul, all while preserving the spirit of the underground.

Azxmii <3 (ft. Rawwb) - Ultra Sound

Bastian Balders is a techno producer, label owner, and DJ based in Leipzig, Germany. He has been involved in the electronic music scene since the 90s as a fan and listener. In 2014, he began creating his own music and he started working with the Berlin-based techno label Konsequent Records. In 2019, he founded his own record label “Balders Audio”, releasing music with artists such as Alex Bau and Alexander Kowalski. In January 2020, he made his debut at Tresor Berlin. This was followed by gigs in China, India, USA, and Cyprus. His style is marked by catchy, loopy techno with raw, hypnotic elements.
