We curate queer sex-positive parties with equally queer line-ups, featuring mostly non-binary and trans DJs. Our aim is to platform artists with gender identities that are under-represented in the music industry, showing that it is possible to have more inclusive and diverse booking practices without a decrease in musical quality, but in fact with an increase by bringing new and previously unheard perspectives to the dance floor.

Discovering and nurturing new talent is at the very essence of SUBVERTED. We stand in resistance to the homogenisation and sanitisation to which the techno industry has been subjected in recent years via formulaic, easily-digested productions and repetitive line-ups, and intend to continue opening the industry's gates for a new generation of artists that are pushing their own unique and fresh take on dark industrial techno.

Techno - hypnotic, groovy and raw 🖤

Born in the early '90s, Raev discovered her passion for techno in 2009 and has been a familiar face in the East German techno scene for a while. With regular bookings at renowned clubs, she has made a name for herself. A highlight of her career was winning an international DJ contest, which earned her a spot at the Phase2 WNTR FSTVL in Catania, Sicily. At this event, as in all her performances, she created a raw yet atmospheric soundscape with her blend of hypnotic elements, harder grooves and driving techno. She always tries to create an energetic atmosphere for floating and letting go.
