Premiere: The first Modal Analysis release for 2021 comes from the New York City producer, Greg Schappert, who has been releasing his music under different aliases over the years. Here, with his SC-164 moniker, contributes a five track EP of industrial flavored electro, perfectly rolling along with the Athenian label’s catalogue. The Generator EP brings together different broken beat compositions, with emphasis on diverse textures and its genius programming. Four tracks pressed on the vinyl, with the 5th one being exclusively available at the Modal Analysis Bandcamp page.

The Brvtalist is proud to present Living Hell, the debut album from Wvalaam Klous - a conceptual artist living in London combining ideas utilizing various forms of sound design. This 10 track (plus 1 bonus) album is master work of industrial, ebm, noise and beyond which casts a true reflection of our times. The release also features a floor destroying remix from London’s Fairground of Tears. 

In addition, Living Hell also launches Brvtalist Sound Recordings, our new in-house label and a natural extension of The Brvtalist platform. Brvtalist Sound Recordings seeks to further the aim of its namesake and release the unexpected, unconventional and the unholy from across the universe of sound. Today we present the first track of the album, the aptly titled “Welcome To The Dark side”. Living Hell  will be available March 26th, 2020 on digital and on limited edition cassette which includes a poster of the cover art by the always amazing Hila Angelica. The Brvtalist is proud to present a new track from Autumns. The Irish artist is back on Clan Destine Records and causing more havoc than ever before. Today we premiere, “Everyone Thinks I’ve Headed On”, an acid laced, post-punk-infused decimator which perfectly captures the mood of the release. Autumns is always oscillating between genres and this latest work sees him in top form.

AUTUMNS - Everyone Thinks I've Headed On (Clan Destine)

Moscow label Pkge presents a new release consisting of three personal compositions from one of its bosses Caprithy and two remixes from Farron and Shedbug. The EP is called "Splinter" and it represents the stylistic diversity of the author's tracks.

The release opened with the track "Press Any Key" in which randomly programmed percussions alternate each other creating an effect of suddenness. The main synth bassline glues the drums together and doesn’t give you a break. On a classic techno breakout track «Сhannel 3» Caprithy achieves dynamics with bouncing sidechain bass and a tricky percussion. The title track has a modern electro sound, choppy drums with a lot of drops. The confident snare drum keeps the rhythm in check and dilutes the dark atmosphere.

All three tracks from Caprithy are filled with noises, various sounds and that has already become the author's calling card. Also the picture is complemented by the strongest remixes from Shedbug who unexpectedly shifted towards EBM and Farron who presented the classic DnB track.

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere the new music video for “Love And Money” from Zurich’s VEIL OF LIGHT. After two years since they released the excellent album Inflict LP, the band returns to AVANT Records! with another impressive release, Landslide. 

Their fifth full-length and definitely their most complex albums features ten new songs finding the perfect balance between the Coldwave intimate atmosphere and synthpop catchy melodies, creating a new sense of emotional intimacy with their profound innermost lyrics. Musically speaking The Swiss duo draws their influences right in between New Order’s moodiness and The Klinik, trying one softer, less brutal approach to their Electro. 

This is the kind of record that takes its time, and takes its toll, we just need to sit down and listen because there's much to discover.

Daniel Monaco has had a slew of impressive releases and what a better way to kick off Roam Recordings 2021 than by teaming up with compatriots Sauvage World to deliver Paninari on Acid. The title track delivers on the acid promise in a rugged yet smooth psychedelic grinder. The second original Tenerè brings the tempo down for a mysterious low-slung expedition. The EP comes with two excellent remixes by Niv Ast and Fabrizio Mammarella. Niv Ast brings an acid house nostalgia with a driving rendition of the title track and Fabrizio Mammarella reworks Tenerè into electro acid territory. All together… a great start to the year.
