Marley Reville Brown is an autodidactic multidisciplinary artist;

Singer, Songwriter, Producer, Dancer, Visual Artist and Photographer.

Born and raised in Toronto, Marley has been recording independently since 2012.

Performing under the mononym “MARLEY”, the musical style is a hybrid fusion that pulls inspiration from genres such as World Music, Psychedelic, Dub, Downtempo, Trip Hop, Acid Jazz, Bossa Nova, Lofi and Lounge.

Marley’s vocal style is evocative and ethereal, layering deep bellowing lows with airy, feather-light highs. The result is a mysterious, exaggerated composite sound that syncs with deliberate and positional lyrics. With narratives that aggressively hover and drift - “hummingbirding” - through hope for healing. For nature, love, dreaming and spiritual enunciation/annunciation through the mystical medium of music.

A Toronto Based Musician/performer of coming up on 30 years of experience in a multitude of genres, including being a classically trained flutist, a headbanging heavy/thrash/groove metal guitar player, and electronic (mainly Drum and Bass) songwriter and tone/sound designer. BullwhipHero with a distinguished ear for music, when having fun doing mashups puts together songs that work on many levels and layers. 
In today's saturated mainstream market of songs that for the most part sound too similar. they're hard to tell apart, he enjoys the challenge of making sure that his songs stand out and that the listener gets to enjoy the experience of the song as much as he did figuring out the puzzle of making it work, all while making sure to never leave out the most important part of any type of music, the emotion. he writes music because he loves doing so and that shows through his covers his mashups and his original music alike.
