OverMyBody has officially hit its five-year milestone. To celebrate, the label has
announced a 5th-anniversary compilation album. Featuring 11 brand-new tracks, the
compilation breaks geographical boundaries by bringing together some of the most
groundbreaking figures in the global underground electronic scene. The lineup
includes noRecall (US), OLOR ACRE (Barcelona), LUXIXI (Beijing), ENTRANAS
(Ecuador), SEPBTT (Colombia), Sanjonas (Indonesia), Hennis (Japan), Titaniüm
(Japan), S.V.C. (Switzerland), as well as local stalwarts MOXINA, XAN, and label
founder B E N N (Taiwan).
Focusing on "exploration" and the "unknown," OverMyBody specially invited artists
who had never previously collaborated with the label. Through these fresh perspectives
and avant-garde club sounds, the founder aims to spark a unique chemical reaction
with OverMyBody's existing aesthetic, injecting a wave of disruptive energy into
contemporary dancefloors.
The compilation shatters conventional genre boundaries, translating cutting-edge
musical experiments straight to the club. The sonic palette spans a wide spectrum,
moving from the fractured, futuristic rhythms of Deconstructed Club to the heavy bass
and syncopated grooves of Latin Electronic. Among them, Japanese producer Titaniüm
presents "酔象" (Suizho), incorporating "Gorge" style's signature raw drum work and
distinctive string-tapping, adding an entirely new depth to the release.
