"Never Odd or Even" - a palindromic mantra that perfectly encapsulates BMSS Records' holistic and now legendary approach to Psychedelic Trance.

Label head and chief pilot Boom Shankar presents the mind-altering conceptual double compilation project "Ailihphilia" (meaning a love for palindromes - words you can read forwards and backwards). Reflecting the label's dark/light dichotomy, LEVEL I is the "Moon side“, featuring a heavy psychedelic vibe; the forthcoming LEVEL II is the "Sun side“ featuring more trance-oriented anthems. 

Together they form a jaw-dropping 4-hour collection: one project, one journey, one narrative - a mirror of our souls, and a reflection of the deep psychedelic realms of the human psyche.

From the deep to the uplifting, old school to new school, EU sound to US sound, this monolithic trip spans every aspect of the Psychedelic Trance scene, and crucially gives the involved artists an opportunity to showcase the full spectrum of their sound by featuring several tracks within the project.

In this sense, Ailihphilia is a true reflection, a mirror, of BMSS' unique modus operandi - an approach that unifies both established artists and legends with new talents and up-and-coming artists, an international crew of producers, DJs and other misfits who fly in the face traditional sub-genre boundaries, focusing instead on true creativity and a profound dancefloor experience.

LEVEL I is constructed in a similarly mirrored fashion: building up and climaxing, before concluding in the smoothest of landings. After all, what goes up has to come down!

The ambitious project is wrapped-up with a similarly holistic approach and attention to detail. Micky Noise (aka Wizzy Noise) at Plus Six Mastering applies his trademark analogue techniques to ensure a consistent balance and maximum sonic impact. 

On the design front, Miro Moric aka Sketch inc. has delivered two unique custom-made covers which perfectly encapsulate the concept.

With Boom Shankar at the helm, BMSS Records once again push the boundaries of the Psychedelic Trance scene whilst firmly acknowledging its roots...an approach perfectly encapsulated by the palindromic mantra “Never Odd or Even".

Biografía del artista:
Franco Vera es un DJ de 24 años nacido en Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Su carrera tiene inicio en el año 2022 y es en el mismo año que, enfocado en el progressive psytrance, logró llamar la atención de varias productoras locales como Astral Trip, Darth Psyde West, World Psy, Keto y Pulpa Music.
El proyecto Vera tiene una identidad principalmente con sonidos bien grooveros. Pasando por tintes alegres, también emocionantes y divertidos. Viajando entre los 140 y 144 bpms, propone una constante psicodelia que harán de cada set una experiencia.
Actualmente se encuentra incursionando en la producción musical para poder ofrecer un sonido más personal y único en sus presentaciones.
Agradecido a Pulpa Music por la oportunidad de formar parte cómo artista residente, viene con todo el entusiasmo a dar todo en este nuevo camino pulpero.

It has been one year since me and @mascalito dropped our first EP together. So I figured it is time to bring it properly to SoundCloud. The mini mix was here before but the full tracks were only on Bandcamp and the streaming platforms. That changes now. I will be releasing one full track every two weeks. Make sure to follow so you do not miss them. This first one is one of my absolute favorites. Funky melodies, heavy groove, and that hypnotic loop that just grabs you. It builds and builds into a total catharsis moment. Made for stomping straight out of the Matrix. Or maybe back in. The full EP is already available for download on Bandcamp. As Mr Poopybutthole said, It’s been a really long time waiting for them to come back to us with season 4…so out of excitement hearing they are back with new episodes this November, we decided to remix their epic theme song and sync a video with the most psychedelic scenes of the show. Somewhere along the way thing got mangled up and we found ourselves editing the video and the remixing the song simultaneously, and we got some kind of a video remix, mashup or call it whatever you want… Hope you guys enjoy it!
