Om Unit:  It’s me and the legend Martyn playing tunes we love to a crowd of people at Zeba Bar in DC, April 15th 2023 for Hast Du Feuer.

Om Unit: Through the years.. dBridge, Craze, Stingray, EZ, Optimo, Jah Tubbys, Uncle Dugs, Randall, Chris Farrell, Kutmah, Mixmaster Mike, Andrew Weatherall, Batu, the list goes on!

3024: What are you working on / what have you got forthcoming?

Om Unit: My vegetable Garden, my studio setup, collaborations and more acid dub! Some club tracks too, also my teaching skills, my relationships and my health! 
Forthcoming music on Zam Zam and Acid Test as well as the dope collab ep w Martyn of course!

Martyn: Yep our second collab EP on 3024 called 'AJ^6', and a remix of Nosaj Thing's 'We Are' (last track of the mix)

Seven and a half exhilarating hours from one of modern club's sharpest.

Tim Reaper's mammoth entry for RA.1000 is all about range. You thought the Future Retro London boss was just a jungle and hardcore head? Think again.

The mix's infinite-scroll tracklist (the longest we've ever published in full!) includes a who's who of top-rate producers, from A Guy Called Gerald and Cari Lekebusch to Batu, Mia Koden and the one and only Shackleton.

Opening with weighty grime and ending on head-spinning drum & bass, the mix journeys through US club, wobbly dubstep, classic techno and, of course, many shades of jungle. Rather than go the easy route, the Londoner approached the assignment with the curiosity, integrity and vulnerability of fellow shapeshifters like dBridge, Calibre and ASC.

"The idea was to represent other styles of electronic music that I've been a bit self-conscious about openly expressing my interest in," he told RA.

RA.1000 isn't just another side of Tim Reaper's artistry: thankfully for us, it feels like only the beginning.

“Very excited to share this recording with the world. When planning this set the idea for me was to focus on archival dubs from the early years of Dubstep/pre-Dubstep (2001-2006) that have yet still to see a release. These are many of the same tunes you could’ve likely heard at a FWD night in these years. In keeping with the progressive spirit of FWD though, I didn’t want it to be solely retrospective — so along with the classic archival tunes I mixed in contemporary productions from myself and a few other newer artists — tracing some of the threads linking past, present, and future. The Broken Mind

The 17th 00effort release sees k:i:o:s:k and Undrwght carving out space between introspective IDM and club-ready intensity. Wobbling low-end flows beneath poignant atmospheres, and charismatic leads shimmer against mutant breaks. k:i:o:s:k's rigid polyrhythms melt into Undrwght's swinging grooves and together they crack open to reveal a glowing, elemental, shape-shifting magical force.

"Obsidiana" serves as a metaphor here: a volcanic glass, which mirrors the moment when two realities touch. Inside an open portal, this connection forms music that breathes heat, hardens into shape, then fractures and scatters into new ground.
