Hey ppl,

Here I bring you a little chiptune track called 'Magnolia Bakery'. 

I visited NY not long ago (which was a blast btw) and while I was there I went to the Magnolia bakery on Bleecker st. This track represents that good day.

It's dedicated to all the chiptune fans following my page (you're awesome) and when I was composing this I was in a pure a sugar rush state. Hope it's just as sweet as the cupcakes at Magnolia bakery!

• About this track: This was a fun piece to write; it uses YM2151 (FM), Wonderswan (wavetable) and RF5C68 (PCM), a combination that would otherwise not be possible without the Swiss army knife that is Furnace. I was particularly inspired by late 80s/early 90s Sega arcade game music, such as OutRunners and Thunder Blade, but I decided to get more experimental particularly later in the track. In short, it really is digital fusion. I hope you enjoy it!

first post-college song!! i had this cover sitting around in my WIPs for quite a while now so i decided now was a good time to give her a quick polish and ship her out. feels good to be doing a mega man cover again after so long.

feels good to be done with college too! i think this will have a very positive impact on my music productivity!! (this is a complete lie(i will do nothing but smoke weed and play video games all summer))

Slashing Pumpkins [VRC7]

A friend roped me into playing Yume 2kki about a year prior and I got hooked.

Well, that'd be an understatement; I, overnight became the game's biggest fan (and completionist too, I have recently completed QXY's snack gallery, got 94% map completion, all the endings including the music room endings and whatnot), and it's changed my life in so many ways for better or for worse.

One of the things it's made me realize is that I still had something in me when it came to making music, and the ideas the game gave me are astounding.

This is one such example; A stage theme based on a rather obscure NPC in the Library area's Reading Room, presumably made by Yumebako (Yumebox?) considering the original sprite's shading and the recycled wake-up event.

While the NPC's unnamed, I call her Kaokai-Chan, since her jumpscare face seems to bear lots of resemblance to the removed Kaokai event.

The thumbnail is my (failed) attempt at making a Mega Man-styled sprite based on her appearance.

Feedback would be appreciated.
