We are back with a new Kollektiv.Liebe EP:

This time the two producers ele & mowo  sent us this beautiful EP called Shades of the Remote.

ele & mowo have found their very own style in their productions. A combination of playful melodies and the super organic, minimalist percussions let set their tracks in a dreamy but still dance able shiny light. That could be a rough description of their music.
The EP includes three awesome remixes by Deisen, Kon Faber and Bisu & Jularis.

They decided that all earnings will given to “Welthungerhilfe in Madagaskar”.

This is a song that I made, after quite a dark time, full of disbelieve and struggles.

I nearly lost all my joy in making music, so I thought about, what happiness is and how I could preserve that in a musical context.

It was an inspiring process, where I tried to find the balance, between the almost banal simplicity of pure joy, but at the same time wanted to address the pushing motivational character of happiness.

I hope that you can feel the ligthness that overcame me, when i started to find back my focus on the bright side of life, that truely can be unperfect and sometimes need´s to be.

Sea Change - Never Felt (Arutani Remix)

We can barely imagine a better start to the new year.
For our 21st release "Obsidian" many friends pulled together. The EP features one original track and three remixes. The original track "Obsidian" was co-composed by Sun Drine, Dit:eau, Ben Jarli and TrickyJones.

Friendship, kinship and a common passion for many shades of electronic music made these four creative spirits set foot on an adventurous trail: a spontaneous collaboration.

A studio session makes a fruitful birthday gift, and what started with the sole and humble ambition of having a good time skinny-dipping in synths & sounds, soon evolved into a harmonic workflow that none of them could have anticipated.

An outburst of rhythmic elements in a gloomy atmosphere and a rolling bassline carrying a sparkling/flamboyant breakbeat make Obsidian a tune resembling an obscure igneous rock - petrified lava that preserves its natural force, energy and heat for those special occasions.

As a senior stone mason infamous for his fine sonic carvings, Bernstein transforms the original's dark timbres into a driving and bubbly gem, a shining spherolite in a flowstone cave.
With their fierce and powerful interpretation, ki ya tori take the original to the floor, without further adue.
In the spirit of adept reductionism, avsluta's ambient mix rounds this EP off to a coherent yet versatile whole.
