Berlin-based RIXXEN has been DJing for 7 years. He convinces with technoid sound, which is characterized by driving, dynamic and nimble characteristics. Pointedly placed elements consume the listener. The result is an irrepressible stream of movement and powerful sound facets, which is full of energy in the heads of the listeners. The resulting mental representation resembles an untamed river, which only receives its form in its entirety by breaking the course of the river.

PVC Podcast 051 RIXXEN

TØSCHE is based in Chemnitz, Saxony and has been DJing for 4 years now. She is founder and resident DJ of the TENSIØN @tension_event series which is established in Chemnitz since 2019. TØSCHE is also a part of the @reset-kollektiv , who have organized underground parties for more than 5 years. She is also involved in a female DJ collective, named @women-of-techno , which consists of various artists playing all over east Germany.

As a lover of rhythm, she lives for groovy tunes with hypnotic elements. “When I can dance to music, especially to groovy sounds, I can feel the freedom which comes for me with it. I´m floating through a tunnel, which is free of all the mundane. This consists the solely and only of giving free rein to my emotions and feelings.
But for me, music and the scene behind is more than an experience. It's culture! And culture is a relevant part of a democratic and open society. Culture and the accompanying sense of freedom should be experienced by all people and should serve as a meeting opportunity for everyone."

OmNa seeks for emotional catharsis in deep, minimal, and experimental techno. Greek-born and now based in San Francisco, she combines the European techno influences with Mediterranean tradition, curating mixes which blend energy with emotion. She is currently working on creating her own deep and minimal sound. She has been a resident for Alibi Works, and co-founder of @bureau-noir collective in San Francisco.

Adelia is a dj origin from Prague, actually based in Spain. She has been a dj since 2015. Her style began with dark techno but turned into deep techno music really fast. Adelia has a lot of experiences with her own events and gigs across Czech republic and Slovakia. She already made podcasts for names such as Oslated, radio Ozora, Bahn Barcelona and many more. Her touch for music is very specific with feelings from other galaxy.

PVC Podcast 060 Adelia

An electronic music duo from Macedonia, currently based in Skopje. The name Binary Thoughts may speak for itself, but there is a much deeper meaning embedded within.
The ancestral way of thinking has always been ‘binary’. To understand nature and all its phenomena, we made a world of oppositions (day/night, sun/moon, male/female). Where the law of “all or nothing” rules, there is no in-between. But the reality is indeed always more complex and more interconnected than what our ‘perception’ of the world suggests.
This perception beyond this “all or nothing” connected Ana Bogatinovska and Jovana Gjorgievska. At first strangers to each other, they met at a music festival in their native country; And after a long discussion about electronic music, they’ve decided to do a project that will connect their somewhat different but similar taste in electronic music.
Their melancholic, delicate and hypnotic sounds use ‘binary thinking’ as a motor to press on to a third term or a higher category that represents a transcending reconciliation or unity: where thesis and antithesis are always harnessed to yield a synthesis. Where seemingly opposite or contrary forces may actually be complementary: Yin and Yang.
Currently, they are exploring the vast horizons of deep and hypnotic soundscapes intending to create their unique blend of creativity to start producing their music. Enjoy <3

Born in Argentina, but living most of her life in the Canary Islands, and currently residing in the city of Barcelona, @imox_x entered the world of mixing during her adolescence, teaching herself, experimenting with different genres until she found her sound marked by a high mental, organic and enveloping content.

Imox is a Mayan Nahuatl, it represents the divinity or essence of the universe, the very root from which all life arises and to which it returns when it dies; and this is how her sessions unfold, an organic evolution like the very process of life. Her sound transports us to the atmospheres and natural landscapes of the island of her childhood, accompanied by hypnotic grooves, tribal elements and cosmic textures, a progressive journey through unknown dimensions with overwhelming intensity.

PVC Podcast 072 Imox

Jan Goertz's creative work is largely driven by the desire to test and redefine his limits in competition with technology. This is one of the reasons why he is known for his 4-deck mixes containing a multitude of tracks and loops. First two and then three players simply became too easy. The motivation to DJ, however, also comes from the calmness that is triggered in his otherwise very bustling head during the process. And of course the fun!
His goal in djing is the creation of an "endless groove" which is diving through different atmospheres and subgenres of techno. By breaking up track structures, Jan wants to form a mix as a "unity from its individual parts, instead of just stringing songs together."
Primarily, Jan draws inspiration from the club context - both as a guest and as an artist. For him, techno is first and foremost "functional and works for and in a club. That's what this music is made for."
Nevertheless the layering wizard also tries to combine smooth vibes with strong grooves for his podcasts and the pleasure of listening techno outside of a club. Enjoy the ride!

Capodanna is an Oslo based dj. She has always been extremly passionate about music and knew that she wanted to express herself through it. After she discovered hypnotic techno she felt the calling to start mixing and telling her own stories. In January 2021 she published her first mix on her own soundcloud. After that she started to get invited to play at events, both locally and internationally.

Her mixes has been featured on podcasts such as Dazedspoon, Charybdis, Aura Productions, Anodynic Frequencies, Altrove and Navigare Audio.

He hasn’t found the “one sound” yet, but is also not aiming to do so. That’s why he decided to contribute a techno-oriented mix, that is his first time going in that direction.

"Dancing was pretty much the reason to put on music from the beginning. It didn't take many club experiences to realize that moving to electronic music, especially in interaction with other people will become a special passion of mine - and that's what I want to do: create atmospheres, tell sound stories, stimulate senses and drive bodies. 
Flowing transitions and fusions of driving 4-for-the-floor sounds without long breathers with a relatively constant atmosphere play an essential role in the style of this mix. Also the high tempo and precise sound elements are characteristic - not to forget the selection of innovative artists!
Besides my solo project as Nona, I am also part of Xonic, a DJ duo consisting of seshan and me. Interestingly, we play a completely different sound there, which in turn influences us and vice versa.

But for me, electronic music goes beyond sound experiences. It was and is a panorama for (sub)cultural spaces of experience, networking and politicization, unfolding and ecstasy." - Nona
