Very excited to have a special guest in our podcast. The notorious @diskokatze was found roaming through our Bassword Podcast and left some undeniable marks on his journey. Buckle up for straight forward minimal techno underlined with psychedelic elements. Keeping the perfect balance between progressive basslines and deep vibes sweetened with playful spacy sounds, you really can get lost in his music. Also CAUTION…guaranteed increase in bpms of your heart rate.

Raik alias Diskokatze had in the last two years over 200 gigs where he made many people happy with his signature sound. To name a few adresses, he played at Jonny Knüppel, Burg Schnabel, Hamburger BAALSAAL & Fundbureau as well as Best Bar Khao San Road in Bangkok or the  legendaey Oxa Beach Koh Phangan. 

In 2018 Raik alias Diskokatze and a couple of friends established the „Free-Open Air Kollektiv Exit“ to organize their first events in the bush of our capital. 1 year later the next project was in its starting gates and he found the music and event label „Katzenjammer Rec. Berlin“.
Besides he had a great share in realising the „Jubeljahre Festival“ in Galenbeck. He was in charge of design and construction of the stage. 


Born and raised at the Ostsee, you can now find him in Berlin!

Thanks to his variety of music he always keeps you guessing what’s going to come next. In the same time his seamless mixing puts your mind in a active dream state and you just want to keep listening.

His passion and boundless joy in DJing inevitabaly let him in 2018 to his first of many projects related to music. Justus and  partner in crime - Chris Plettenberg  - founded the collective "Beschäftigungstherapie. They also established a very successful podcast series on Soundcloud as well as a party series. Furthermore he is part of "Staygold Music" an underground electronic music, talent and event agency based in Berlin. 

His references include the colorful bouquet of the Berlin club scene. Further he plays in Europe and exotic places like Guatemala, Uganda and Rwanda. You can find his whole club history on his soundcloud profile.

Radio Check. Seat belts on. We are about to leave this orbit with @https://soundcloud.com/spez_i today. SPEZI. aka Sid is our Captain for the 9th Bassword episode. 

Thick Basslines fueled with hypnotic melodies and spacy elements are about to put you into another dimension. For 1 hour he doesn’t move his foot from the throttle and still keeps progressing through his set. His forward moving style of minimal techno gets very deep and dark at times and lights up again with playful psyelements. 

Born and raised in Mainz SPEZI. is now found in Berlin, where this young talent already had a few gigs. His musical path already crossed  Places like AVA Berlin (Die jungen Wilden), Anita Berber & other Open Airs in Berlin. We are excited to hear more from this young man in the future but for now put the volume up and enjoy the ride!

And here we go! Our tiger cat is strawling again through soundcloud, today incarnated as https://soundcloud.com/sabas22. Our friend from Georgia is gifting us with a exceptional piece of music. Sabas ticks all the boxes. Groovy basslines, spheric sounds underlined with electronic euphoria, which make you wanna go dancing dancing. All night dancing! 

Sabas is Georgian Dj/Producer. He lives in Tbilisi. He started producing music 3 years ago. He already had a couple of releases on ThreeRecords (UK). You can find them below. Sabas is cooperating with some record labels right to further build his musical career. He has been playing in many clubs and events in his city !

Bassword #11 - Ben Rose

Nach einer längeren Bassword Pause möchten wir 2021 mit einem großen Knall verabschieden. Sanne Aarns ist eines unserer musikalischen Highlights dieses Jahr und wir freuen uns sehr diese wunderbare Entdeckung 2021 mit euch teilen zu können. 
Sannes Sets sind geprägt durch druckvoll treibende Basslines eingebettet in einer melodischen Spähre & psychodelischen Elementen. Ihr Sound ist das was wir am Techno lieben, die Ehrlichkeit und Energie mit der wir uns fallen lassen können. Da wird uns auch ohne Glühwein warm ums Herz. Danke dafür Sanne!

Die gebürtige Berlinerin ist seit vielen Jahren im Berliner Nachtleben und bei elektronischen Musik Veranstaltungen anzutreffen.
Vor 2 Jahren hat sie sich dann dazu entschieden, auch aktiv, ihren eigenen musikalischen Beitrag zu leisten und fing selbst an zu mixen. Seitdem konnte sie ihr Können schon im Suicide Club Berlin, Birgit&Bier , Polygon Club Berlin , im Ava Club Berlin und im VOID Berlin unter Beweis stellen. Außerdem führt sie erfolgreich ihre eigene Podcastreihe namens AarnsCast auf SoundCloud.

Bassword #12 - Sanne Aarns

Simon aka Schmackofatz und Lukas aka Spinneratz legen seit 2019 miteinander auf. Die Beiden sind schon in diversen Berliner Clubs wie zum Beispiel dem Ritter Butzke, birgit&bier und Johnny Knüppel aufgetreten. Seit 2020 im Verteiler Kollektiv. Seit 2021 schmeckt und spinnt das eigene Projekt. Mit ihrem treibenden Sound holen die Beiden unseren Podcast im Nu aus dem Winterschlaf!

Rafael Oliveira is a DJ from Darmstadt who has been a frequent DJ in Frankfurt since 2018. Whether at the Kuddelmuddel, at the Rummelfest or at Kabinett der Kuriositäten, the passionate DJ and event manager causes a stir with melodic, driving sets. Last year he founded a new collective called Kollektiv Einklang, which brings together art and music and is also in close contact with the Hand aufs Herz Kollektiv. 

On this occasion he now presents us the next This set captures a wide range of sound centered around melodic techno. It has a very energizing & progressive style and will definitely keep you entertained for 126 minutes with some jaw dropping banger. Enjoy the ride! Thank you Rafael! <3

Bassword #2 - Rafael Oliveira

Really happy to introduce the first female DJ Erzsébet in our podcast series ‚Bassword’. Erzsébet supported us right from the beginning with her unique sound. She puts a lot of heart and effort into her music and sets, which we were able to witness live on the first ‚Electronic Brunch‘. Starting out with playing music in 2018 she already has had gigs at „Kabinett der Kuriositäten“ and Silbergold.

Her musical style is not easily put into one single genre, ranging from disco and old school house influences to darker and deeper sounds. Her self-described happy place in music is the place where the gloomy and the cheesy come together. Right now she is working on producing her own music and already released a Remix called „DNS - Orange Island (Erzsébet's Orange Realness Dance Mix)“. We are more than happy to have her play a special mix for us. Buckle up for a journey. It has it all : deep sounds, trance melodies, cosmic chords embedded in electronic euphoria. Gorgeous and cheeky!

There are no more appropriate words to describe this young unstoppable man. Birthday and Christmas on the same day shows us that @Mischolino has thought of partying ever since. Herbs and honey is all that he needs. Mischolino collected his musical influences from various spots that perfectly reproduce his sound as well as his character. From Berlin and Moscow via Milano and Barcelona to Ibiza and of course not to forget sexy FFM 069! 
To get a spark of his world too, he recorded a birthday set taking you on a wild journey. Have fun!

Welcome back. We are happy to introduce our next artist Alicia Hahn. Alicia is part of the DURCH UND DANN LINKS Kollektiv in Frankfurt. She is a very talented up and coming DJane in Frankfurt who already proofed to be made for the stage at our Electronic Brunch in March. Other than that she played at Fridas Pier (Stuttgart), Toast Hawaii (Berlin) and Raver Renes Raver Ranch (Weimar). 
Deep, progressive and melodic sounds are the building blocks in her musical arsenal. However for this mix she giftet us with breakbeats embedded in deep ambient sounds. Very nice stuff. Thank your for that! Enjoy the Ride with Alicia Hahn.

This bassword episode is contributed by Klix’s well-placed atmospheric sounds polished by deep and almost trancy elements. Yet staying true to his original taste in house music, he delivers once more a smooth mix full of hip shaking grooves. His self-produced, yet unreleased tracks, fit perfectly to the spacy vinyl vibes.

In 2019, we founded the "Hand aufs Herz Kollektiv" with the vision to build a local platform for creative exchange. 
Whether musical,cultural or artistic we want to give everyone a stage to present themselves and their work. The cornerstones of our work are sustainability, regionalism and community.
The Electronic Brunch is the first project of our young collective. 

In 2019 haben wir das Hand aufs Herz Kollektiv gegründet mit dem Ziel, eine lokale Plattform für kreativen Austausch zu schaffen. 
Ob musikalisch, gestalterisch oder kulturell wollen wir jedem eine Bühne geben, sich und seine Arbeit zu präsentieren.
Als Grundpfeiler unseres Schaffens gelten für jenes und alle weiteren Projekte die Themen Nachhaltigkeit, Regionalität und Gemeinschaft.
Der Electronic Brunch ist dabei das erste Projekt unseres jungen Kollektives.
