Here are my favorite tracks that I've compiled based on the rekordbox evaluation of the frequency of plays and my personal love for the tracks themselves, and / or the effect on the dance floor. The numbering of the tracks are also the chart positions of the songs.. Musically it covers my style, crazy or witty productions that either have special vibes, melodies or a psychedelic, deep effect. The tracks all have something special. Embracing Midgar's story-tale approach, 'Da Nao Tian Gong' (also known as 'Havoc in Heaven') stands as Polygonia's latest four-track EP. Lindsey Wang draws direct influence from a beloved childhood cartoon, itself inspired by the ancient Chinese legend 'Journey to the West' and the iconic character Sun Wukong. In a retro-modern twist, the tracks vividly depict Sun Wukong's essence: 'Jindou Yun' embodies the swiftness of his cloud, 'Shen Wai Shenfa' invokes his magical hair with tribal rhythms, 'Ruyi Jingu Bang' mirrors his legendary staff's power, and 'Disha Shu' portrays his 72 Transformations through vibrant harmonics.

It sounded to me like the early days of Pop Ambient from Kompakt. I decided to keep the theme of mystical soundscapes and create my own interpretation. Ransom Note Records are hyped to welcome the mighty Bleaching Agent to fold for his debut EP with us, Widowbait. The Leeds based producer has been a stalwart of the UK scene for some time, notably as resident at Manchester’s seminal Body Horror night, so we are over the moon the have snared his newest offerings for you. Bleaching Agent’s inaugural release on R$N is a deep down and dirty excursion into the murky depths of the UK underground. Have a hot shower on stand by because things are about to get mucky!

Cahoots chugs into view with a low slung bass providing some much needed sleaze atop the relentlessly driving beat, setting the scene perfectly for what is to come. A music compilation for Valencia to raise funds for victims of the devastating floods that hit the Spanish city in early November.

“Amor i Ritme” is the music of solidarity: 27 artists united in a single beat. A release that travels through different sounds and styles from ambient and house to industrial EBM, techno and acid in solidarity with one of the most emblematic places of the electronic music scene in Spain.

All proceeds will be split 50/50 between two charities who are helping to raise money for those affected and to rebuild communities that have been devastated: Aldis Paiporta, which helps people with disabilities who have lost everything, and the Horta SuD Foundation, which works with civil society to stimulate and strengthen the social fabric in the Valencian Community, with special attention given to programmes developed in the region of Horta Sud (Valencia).

We would like to give special thanks to each of the artists who have joined the initiative and to those who have not been able to but have supported us.

Suite For Chick is a heartfelt homage to the late jazz maestro Chick Corea. This collection features reinterpretations of City Gate, Rumble, Time Track, and Hymn of the Heart from the Chick Corea Elektric Band, as well as Return to Forever’s classic Romantic Warrior. These vibrant renditions celebrate Corea's enduring legacy in the jazz world. Chick Corea played a crucial role in shaping Miles Davis's electric fusion era and was a key member of Lost Quintet. He was also a founding force behind Return to Forever and many other influential groups.
Here Bangkok-based Maarten Goetheer collaborates with top Thai drummer Pong Nakornchai, blending Wurlitzer chords, Moog basslines, ARP leads, and signature Rhodes phasings.  Nakornchai, a Master’s graduate in Jazz Studies from Mahidol University, leads his own quartet and embodies the progressive spirit of modern jazz in Thailand.
Maarten's inspiration stems from his musical upbringing; his father, Gerard Goetheer, was a jazz pianist. This environment fostered his deep appreciation for music. A pivotal moment came when he heard Masters at Work remixing Tania Maria, igniting his vision to merge genres and create something new. With Suite for Chick, Maarten wanted to incorporate a wider range of modern influences that he became infatuated with throughout his musical career such as Techno, Italo, Cosmic Disco, Dub, Acid, Boogie, Proto-House & Ambient Music. To Maarten, bringing these genres together is his current and unique interpretation of the Jazz Fusion moniker.
