We are excited to welcome Exthract (@exthract) as a resident of Kontext. To mark this moment, we’re sharing his most recent and outstanding live set, recorded in Berlin at our last event of the year.

Anton has been closely connected to our journey from the start – sharing the vision, energy and sensitivity that align with the identity of Kontext. Across his three live performances with us, he continues to reveal new layers of his evolving artistic language, merging groovy kicks, glitchy textures, emotional synths and controlled chaos.

We are both truly happy to share this live set featuring material to be released on Kontext next year!

You can't see it because of the angle with which I took the shot, aiming down, but beyond those blocks is the sea.  To the left is the Mediterranean, to the right is the Atlantic Ocean.  No it's not Gibraltar, but a little bit further West. ... Actually I checked recently and it is further North more than West, I thought I was facing South when in fact I probably was facing the Atlantic ocean, which is why I suppose the waves were of a decent size where we were.

All my field recordings (except for when I record a person) are public, freely downloadable by anyone who is able to click on the button.
