After an extended hiatus, we're excited to bring back our podcast. For the return we're honored to have one of the earliest supporters of So It Goes - dating back to our days in the Bay Area back in 2018.  

Our guest for our 132nd episode is New York City-based (by way of San Francisco), Errent.  

Errent recorded an outstanding mix that perfectly fits the direction of So It Goes moving forward.  His extensive knowledge of house and techno is on full display. 

The mix is a heady ride full of deep grooves and warm, hypnotic dub chords. Highlighting artists & labels from around the world and local to NYC.

In an time of almost surveillance-like coverage of popular musicians, where artists are expected to be 100% available and known to their fans, there stands Burial. Antithetical to the social media era, William Bevan continues to be (mostly) a figure of mystery to his legion of fans.  

His signature sound transmutes a postmodern patchwork of samples – R&B vocals, video game soundtracks, field-recorded ephemera, and organic percussive elements – into a club melancholia that could only come from London.

Cosminautical Dub Space Transmission

Claude B operates at the junction between precise and academic techno rhythms, electro goofiness, and psychedelic obsession. Hailing from Laon in northern France and residing in Berlin, he started playing around with music software at age 12 before progressively shifting his focus to physical gear, giving his sonic creations this characteristic patchwork style by melting digital processing with analog recordings.

With releases on Mabel's Doglandiya, Florian Meindl's FLASH Recordings, and Enzo Grubert's Arborecords, Claude B has established his hybrid approach. Landing on Electric Shapes with a mix incorporating the best of underground dance music alongside raw jam recordings and different unreleased tracks, he delivers his signature blend of calculated chaos.

Biography: 
I am DJ and producer based on The Mornington Peninsula, Australia. My journey with electronic music began nearly 30 years ago, when I first heard dance music in a Melbourne club. That moment sparked a lifelong dedication to sound, composition, and rhythm. I began collecting records and got my first music software. From the very beginning, I was drawn to the textures of minimal techno, ambient, and house. These genres shaped my creative direction and continue to influence my sets and productions today. 

After several years of playing in clubs and at parties, I found my place behind the mic and the decks in radio, where I spent 15 years sharing music and connecting with listeners. These days, I keep things simple and soulful—DJing for friends at home and for the good people tuning in online from around the world. The passion remains as strong as ever: it's all about the music, the community, and the journey it takes us on.

About the mix:
I have selected a fair dose of tunes from 2025, a few a little older and a couple of golden oldies to round things off.  Most of the tunes are dub techno, with a strong minimal, moody feel. The older tunes provide some sonic excellence and reflect my influences. Much respect to all of the Artist who's work i have used for this set, you are all amazing. For the 62nd interpretation of Far Blue, we have the talented duo Javier Salazar who have put together something special. It's one of the more experimental perceptions of the concept, weaving together downtempo, ambient and abstract sounds. Besides running the inspiring Klape Nunsen label, they are amazing selectors when it comes to the deeper and dubby sounds. This mix showcases how subtly they create an atmosphere that makes you float.

"Settled in the studio, we started playing records we felt like sharing. Each of us behind a turntable, doodling without anything specific in mind, occasionally at the same time letting sounds overlap. One of us pressed the record button, and we simply let it unfold, free of knowing where it would lead. We rarely felt so immersed in a recording, selecting each track in the moment. Depth, imperfections and unexpected blends."
