Bapari (aka Arielle Baptiste) is a Haitian-American musician, producer and DJ. They have released music with Popcan Records, Mollyhouse Records, Chroma NY, XXIII and Internet Friends. In addition to producing for a number of recording artists, their debut solo EP ‘Daybreak’ released this past March. Bapari has created soundtracks and scores that have been featured at Roy and Edna Disney/CalArts Theater, Redbull Music x Compose LA, as well as New York Fashion Week. They’ve headlined Boiler Room LA, played Melting Point & Papi Juice in New York, as well as numerous parties across the USA. Bapari DJs and hosts the monthly show Puffy on NTS radio and last year served as the tour DJ for Steve Lacy. Their musical style explores electronic experimentation by fusing cinematics, the avant-garde and dance music elements to create anywhere from unique underground club tracks to genre-bending sonic landscapes. Most recently Bapari was selected for the LANDxAIR artist residency program hosted by Nomadic Divisions and Werkärtz and last year they were accepted into a two-year residency program by NAVEL, the artist collective and performance space in downtown Los Angeles. They formerly played drums in the punk band F U Pay Us, as well as soccer for the Haitian national team.

@obesedogma777 (formerly similarobjects) is a producer, musician, artist, educator and DJ from Manila, Philippines who has founded several cultural and community platforms in Manila including BuwanBuwan, a collective, community and label for hybrid electronic musicians; Cosmic Sonic Arts, a non-traditional electronic music mentorship program and school that focuses on music as a means of self-discovery and meditation, Manila Community Radio, an independent internet radio platform that aims to spotlight the manila scene on a global level whilst pushing diversity/inclusivity and Club Matryoshka, a Philippine-based International virtual venue hosted in Minecraft and established to enable a diverse and experimental set of artists to perform in a decolonized space that platforms and focuses on performers with non-white, LGBTQIA+, female, and neurodivergent majority lineups.

despite a good track record via his participation in Boiler Room 2017 and the Redbull Music Academy 2018 in Berlin as well as countless releases, residencies and interesting collaborations through the years (Maltine Records, Zoom Lens, Darker Than Wax, Eastern Margins, Nais, Tropical Diskoral, Botanic Records and more), he retired his 11-year-old similarobjects project in 2021, to make way for a new journey of sonic self-discovery leaning on a more primal, intuitive yet unapologetic experimental club sound which he is currently cultivating.
