Senka (shadows) brings you a diversity of scenery. It
takes you to a warm crowded marketplace where baselines
and clarinet form a rhythmic coalition. While percussion
waves you towards the shadows, lyrical melodies come and
go from time to time.

After a sphere of calmness, acid sounds start rising
mingled with darbuka and tapan. At the point of highest
tension, melancholic clarinet sounds reflect acceptance.

Goro and the members of Mèraque met in 2020 in Amsterdam.
They share the love for both electronic as acoustic folk
music, became friends and created Senka together.

Since the end of the 16th century a legendary figure called Krampus came up in the German and Slavic mythology. The demon-like creature has a head spiked with two long horns and a dentition consists of sharp fangs. The Krampus is an accompanist of St. Nicholas. This nightmare creature exist for all naughty children. It is entrusted with the task of punishing these kids for their bad deeds. The myth about Krampus is a memorial und reminder to do and be a good guy. Otherwise the Krampus and not St. Nicholas will visit you at the night of the 6 December. This second Single Release by Christian Hülshoff follows thematically directly the first one on KataHaifisch. Once again, the producer accompanies us into the dark realms of downtempo. Deep Synths and mystical Pads create a medieval atmosphere. The song is filled with a lot die of spuky energy but in the end it reveals a clear-minded and cleaned up structure and therefore a optimistic mood.

"Barriers Within" from "Solitude's Radiance" captures the emotional struggles of encountering the invisible walls that others erect around themselves. The track layers introspective synth-wave melodies with muffled synth strings and intimate harmonics to create a soundscape that reflects the quiet, internal battle of reaching out to those who are closed off. ॐ//om -The great primordial sound, the original sound from which the universe was created, the sound of all sounds together. According to Hindu metaphysics everything is made of sounds (vibrations), since everything is sound, healing through it, is an ancient ritual, as sound is not only heard through our ears but vibrates within every cell of our bodies.

kosha (Sanskrit कोश, IAST: kośa), usually rendered "sheath", the covering of the Atman, or Self. 

kośa is a soundsmith who brings you a flavour mixing - downtempo, acid house, minimal//deep-tech ranging from 80 to 120 bpm, electronic yet organic tunes, deep hypnotic meditative grooves and solid kicks infused with Indian, Arabic and other Ethnic influences which we beautifully term 'spiritual deeptech' a genre coined by kośa, rooted in the deepest part of India's underground scene.

For us at kosa records this network gives space to connect ideas of various forms to do art for art's sake - not for social recognition. to break the rules of systematic exploitation of the artist's energy and to feel the soul in synchonicity.
there are no limits, as there is no mind. 

We consumed too much music and it started to leak and this is when kośa evolved into a record label in January 2019 with the release of their first various artists compilation Mīmāṃsā, though the real beginnings were with our Podcast series the raga saga https://soundcloud.com/kosamusica/sets/the-raga-saga where in we showcase an hour of beautiful music from our favorite artists from around the world.

33% of all proceeds are donated to Mountain Village Foundation that aims at educating the underprivileged women and children in the northern parts of India.
