Subtle arrangements of brittle piano chords and vaporous vocals out a cottony dreamscape overarch an earthly mix of rattling percussions and languid pad motion, fusing spiritual ethereality with an earthly sense of belonging. A further stripped-down and highly cinematic piece of electro-acoustics, 'African Melodique' merges post-balearic guitar riffs with typical polyrhythms from Alkebulan, slowly evolving into a synth-folk type of contemplative hybrid. Two songs cut from the same cloth, vibrant and poignant, moving in between sheer soul-healing abstraction and ancestral remembrance. A fascinating voyage in sound.

Even three days after the massacre in Paris I'm still speechless. Last year, I fell in love with this dark, melancholic but also very charming city. I met so many wonderful people. I danced so many nights till the sun rose. I drank so many espressi in these amazing little bars. I listened to the wonderful sounds at Bataclan. 

We lost so many souls this friday. So many innocent people. Not only in Paris, but in the whole world.

Here's a reworked mix I made last year while being in Paris. We had so much fun listening to it. And danced through the streets. So much joy, so much love. Let's send all this love to the ones we've lost. 

Love will conquer!

Having started his affair with music from a young age, Sam Shure’s native talent and his ever-evolving skillset dot him one of the stand out artists rising this year. Pairing electronic sound design and jazzy oriental scapes with a natural flair, Sam’s sound is continuously developing as he constantly adds new textures and layers, pushing his own creative boundaries.
When it comes to his DJ skills, the adopted Berliner channels his creative diversity into versatile sets, being able to serve up assorted atmospheres, playing frequent sets at staple clubs and festivals such as Watergate Club, Gardens Of Babylon, Epizode and Kater Blau to name a few, which also led to landing his residency at the legendary Bordel des arts party in Salon - Zur wilden Renate.

Alvaro's relation with music starts early, as at the age of 5 he started to learn music through the violin. From then on, his interest in music increased day by day, opening his mind for another styles out of classical music but without leaving his violin aside. Influence of his classical studies in Alvaro’s music is huge, giving big importance to melodic elements on his productions and sets. The idea of making a link between classical and electronic music has been constantly on his mind so he supports his sets playing live violin.

Playing most of the times with versatile selections, Alvaro’s sets are always riding in between different styles of music. This time he created a journey with music from talented artists as Bodaishin, Jean Vayat, Andreas Balicki, Bona Fide, Phoesy or Evren Furtuna in between others, and add some of his own unreleased productions.
