Was it the end of time? Were the final days upon us, and all that was left was to wait for the inevitable? But even in the face of conclusion, life went on. People still laughed and loved, danced and sang. They knew that these could be their last moments, and they wanted to make them count.

The air was thick with anticipation, as if everyone could feel the end drawing near. Yet no one knew exactly when it would come. It could be tomorrow, or it could be a hundred years from now. That didn't matter though; we all knew it was only a matter of time.

And then, one day, it happened. We all heard the sound in the distance, like thunder rolling in from far away. It grew louder and louder until it seemed like the very earth itself was shaking. And then, suddenly, it was upon us.

The end of time, and with it, a new beginning had arrived.

As the first notes of Adrian Schneider's new EP “In Time” ring out, the listener is drawn into a world of creative synthesizer layers and strong melodic ideas. The songs are polished and melodic, with organic elements woven throughout to create a unique soundscape. The heavy kicks provide a sense of power and energy, while the rhythmic percussive ideas add depth and richness to the sound.

“In Time” is an impressive showcase of Adrian's talent as a producer and songwriter. It's clear that he has put a lot of thought into each track, creating an engaging and story-telling EP that draws the listener in from the first note. “In Time” is an EP that is sure to captivate listeners everywhere.

MIICHII is welcomed into this story with his own interpretation of Adrian Schneider’s track, “Satori”. He has composed violins and a new simplistic approach in the production to bring to life the musicality of the original mix.

Better known as one half of the Stavroz quartet, Pieter De Meester and Maxim Helincks turn up on A Tribe Called Kotori with their self-titled third studio effort as Shady, following up to "Your Skin" EP on Beat & Path last year. Grinding a wide set of influences through oddball, genre-bending compositions, the pair has been carving out its own wonky, cross-curricular sound grammar away from normative restrictions and creative-hindering behaviourism - like the weird brainchild to Soulwax, Nicolas Jaar and Connan Mockasin. 

"Can I Be Yours" gets the ball rolling on a spectral pop tip, blending together the vaporous spook of ultra-processed riffs with mischievous drum play and hypnotically smooth-tongued vocals dissolving in rippling delays. A further nocturnal affair, "Cruisin" goes a more sensuous, electro-friendly route, beaconed with hints of washed-out folk and cosmo-ambient spaciousness. The Cali vibes meet spoken Brit post-punk motif'd (think Baxter Dury out for a quick surf session with the Beach Boys) "Sun" rounds off the ride on a catchy Mod-like note, merging to perfection the swinging London's debonair charm with that of the west coast's typical carefreeness of being. That's ocean-spray bottled in a tune.

Merchant of silken-textured, smokey grooves and moiré house patterns folding out in kaleidoscopic motion, New-York-via-Berlin based label staple Nhii returns to ATCK with his eagerly anticipated next airing, "Rusted Rose". 

Championing a mix of style-transcending soulfulness and proper suave DJ-friendly swagger, the US-born producer treats us to a compellingly opaque, incense-shrouded slab of slo-burning electronics, bending the scope deftly from Easternmost to Mediterranean folk tropes on the overtly hedonistic title-track. Combining traditional Gypsy brass and Sicilian mandolinata with a seductive forward-tugging bass geared up for extensive action down in Ibiza, Nhii shows off the width of his vision and sample-heavy skillset, tailoring the kind of uniquely sensual, electro-acoustic adjacent weapon you can't help but returning to, encore et encore. 

On "Carn Menyn", Nhii opts for a different approach, still infusing his blends in a thick concoction of Latin melodies and tribal-laced rhythms throughout the poignant breaks that punctuate the journey, then giving full room for his hi-octane, heavily processed synth swashes and inch-perfectly woven programming to expand when the drop hits. Nimbly walking that fine line between timeless communion and future-facing, tech-powered abandon, Nhii offers one of his most strikingly mature efforts to date, a definite benchmark for his sound to build around and continue to unravel its supremely heady, soul-fulfilling flavours.

Steve Sibra is no newcomer to the French electronic music scene. Active since 1999, he has already released several albums and around forty EPs. 
Originally from Paris but now based in Montpellier in the south of France, Steve is a radio man. For many years, he hosted Laboratoire Sonore on Montpellier 91 FM, where he welcomed the cream of international artists to his show. 

Steve joined the Brique Rouge team in 2022 and, in just a few releases, has risen to become one of the core artists shaping the label's sound. He brings his inimitable touch of melancholic deep techno and melodic, cinematic soft house, sometimes infusing it with a strong electro influence and a few experimental touches. The quality of his productions having won over everyone who listened to them, it was only natural to (finally) offer an album that allows listeners to enter Steve's dancefloor universe.  

And what an album! With 21 tracks, it's more than an adventure, it's a huge sonic trip that draws you in from the very first track and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, vibrations, and sensations that doesn't let go until the very last track. It's a coherent universe, where every note is weighed for a minimalist approach to a melodious groove. 

Sometimes leaning towards “sunset music,” sometimes towards a slightly darker melancholy, Telepath Voodoo leaves no one indifferent, and each listen brings its own set of details and surprises.  So listen to it loud, listen to it on headphones, listen to it while dancing or meditating, but let yourself be carried away on this long journey that Steve Sibra offers you.  Undoubtedly one of the most important French House and Electronic artists of the moment.

Created in 1999 by David Duriez, the independent French label Brique Rouge continues to promote the electronic sound that David has always believed in and defended. Far from the formatting and excessive vulgarity of the current electronic scene, the label promotes an eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and, above all, in a clubbing vibe.  In general, the artists on the team are given carte blanche, and it is above all the spirit that counts. The label does not seek success; it is a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release per week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player in the French underground electronic scene due to its activism.
