Seth Troxler is one of electronic music’s most instantly recognisable artists. He has carved out his own unique path as a cultural commentator, art curator, restaurateur and entrepreneur. Descended from a family of cowboys and Baptist preachers, Seth is part African-American, with a singular approach to viewing the world through the prism of contemporary music culture.

Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and raised in suburban Detroit, Seth learnt the art of DJing initially from his stepfather (then a college radio DJ) and later from working, at only 16, behind the counter in legendary Detroit record store ‘Melodies & Memories’. It wasn’t until Seth made the decision to explore new horizons in the mid-2000s, moving to Berlin fresh out of his teens (after debuting at Panorama Bar at just 18 years old), that his DJ career really took off.

Since the move from Detroit to Berlin, then settling in London for a number of years, and now with his time divided between Ibiza and Berlin (Round 2), Seth has established himself as one of the world biggest DJs (voted the world’s number one DJ in scene bible Resident Advisor and gracing the front cover of Mixmag three times). He’s equally at home playing to the smoke-filled dance floors of some of the world’s most discerning nightclubs, such as CircoLoco, fabric (London), Nordstern (Basel), The Lux (Lisbon) or Blitz (Munich), as he is headlining the world’s largest festivals, like Glastonbury, Movement, Roskilde or Sonar.

Right from the word go, Seth has been as passionate about food and contemporary art as he is about music, and these two interests have resonated at all points, and in parallel, to his music career. A multi-faceted modern artist: he has held residencies at talismanic music institutions, run numerous record labels, and pursued his own solo recording career (including the recent ‘Play In The Dark’ collaboration with the Martinez Brothers on Crosstown Rebels, and ‘Lumartes’ that kick started CircoLoco Recordings in Summer 2021). Furthermore Seth has found the time to launch the successful Smokey Tails’ restaurant in London, to create and host his own party during the Rio Carnival, and then to stop everything and to take the time out to climb Kilimanjaro for charity.

More recently Seth has focussed his creative energies on his ‘Lost Souls of Saturn’ www.lostsoulsofsaturn.com project, alongside Phil Moffa and further opaque participants, that sits firmly at the intersection between futuristic electronica, contemporary art and technology. In 2019 Lost Souls Of Saturn presented their audio/visual installation Transmission at the Saatchi Gallery in London, after its premiere during Art Basel in Switzerland, and collaborated with the Met in New York and the Fondation Beyeler in Basel in 2021. Lost Souls Of Saturn are currently recording their second album and conducting further experiments in augmented reality and virtual reality, which will be revealed soon.

Extremely well travelled, constantly searching and experiencing, Seth Troxler continues to follow his own unique path.

Since his first steps in Buenos Aires, Franco Bianco has been related to music and since then, he has polished a personal sound. Though he is an electronic musician orientated to the dance floor, his work covers from ambient, to techno merged with folk, country and tango. That's why he has been mentioned as “the Danny Boyle of electronic music” by some European media.

His music took him on worldwide tours (from Australia to Lebanon, through Japan, USA and Egypt), with more than 300 presentations in 27 different countries during the last years. In many European countries, there have been queues to see his shows. His vinyl records (the last four being sold out) are played by international artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Laurent Garnier or the mythical Danny Tenaglia, among others.

Every year, he extensively tours Europe, as well as South and Central America. In Argentina he is also regularly booked at some of the most important megafestivals, such as Telecom Personal Fest (2004) as well as the last editions of Creamfields Buenos Aires (2008, 2009, 2010 and 2013). Talking about European festivals, in 2010, he played at the well-known Circle of Love Festival, and in 2011, he played on the 1st of May at the Görlitzer Park in Berlin as a headliner, in front of more than 7k people. From 2007 to 2014, he participated every year at the Midsommar Festival and Secret Island Nation Festival (Switzerland and Sweden respectively) and also at “Fête de la Musique” in Geneva as a headliner on the main stage.

One of his projects in 2011 was also a vinyl, digital & CD edition, with remixed versions from singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler (winner of an Oscar in 2007), which he produced together with Nacho Benedetti. This important album also included re-versions of Mike Shannon and Jesper Dahlback. Franco was in charge of presenting this album from September until December of that year, in 23 European and American cities. In 2013, after 6 years of continuous touring and launches over the four continents, he finally found the time to work on his new album, which got released at the end of 2014 in vinyl, digital & CD formats. In the meantime, he was always active with DJ sets, instead of his usual LIVE set-up, that kept him busy in Europe and the Americas. His new album "En Lo Profundo", including remixes of John Tejada, Gabriel Ananda and Cari lekebusch among others, was also followed by big shows in Argentina, Dominican Republic and Switzerland to present the record and his new LIVE+DJ Set performance. The future of Franco Bianco is certainly similar to his music releases, totally eclectic and unpredictable.

With a career spanning more than 20 years, Paco Osuna is one of the most renowned artists in the industry. His creativity, courage and relentless search for new forms of expression are some of his principal and consistent virtues when it comes to making music. On the dance floor, he is lively, intelligent and sophisticated, with a deep awareness for sound aesthetics. Every session is important to Paco and he sets out to invent and renew every time he steps onto the stage.

In 2006 he launched Mindshake, conceived as a platform for the creation and distribution of electronic music. Over the past few years, Mindshake has become one of the most important techno labels in the US and Europe. Also in 2006, Paco founded a club with a fresh concept, Club4, which has established itself as the overwhelming choice for its variety and accessibility in electronic music offerings.

Throughout his career Paco has performed at clubs, parties and festivals of great prestige. The list of events in which he has played is endless, and is one where quality is more important than quantity. From Fabric London to WOMB Tokyo, passing through Space NYC, Space Miami, Verboten New York, Watergate Berlin and Electric Brixton London. Meanwhile, Sónar, Awakenings, Dockyard, ADE, Neopop, BPM, Electric Zoo, Movement Detroit, Time Warp and Tomorrowland are some of the many festivals he has played.

From 2012 to 2014 he was resident for Richie Hawtin’s ENTER, appearing not only at Space Ibiza but also in its tour around the world. In 2015 Paco Osuna became part of Music On, joining Marco Carola in residencies at Amnesia Ibiza and the Story club in Miami, as well as the emblematic parties during BPM Mexico. In 2016 he was selected to be ambassador of PLAYdifferently Model1, a distinction also received by Loco Dice, Chris Liebing, Dubfire and, of course, Richie Hawtin. 2016 was also an important year for the Mindshake showcases, in which Paco participated alongside other label producers with tours taking in European and American stages, including events such as the Miami Music Week and ADE Amsterdam. The Mindshake showcases are both an extension of the musical and artistic vision of Paco and a family celebration, where the main goal is to create an unforgettable musical experience.

In the studio, Paco Osuna has moulded his own musical signature, coating the purest techno sounds with his characteristic features: depth, darkness and imagination, always accentuated by his creativity and innovation. Proof of that are his releases on labels such as Plus8, Minus, Mood, Spectral and Hommage, plus productions for his own platform Mindshake.
With a long career and background, Paco has picked up several prizes for his hard work on and off the stage, receiving the awards for Best Artist, Best Techno DJ, Best Producer and Best Remix from the Vicious Awards and DJ Mag Spain.

During 2016 Paco Osuna will extend the journey that has led him be the artist that he is today. This year, his residencies with Music On Ibiza and Miami will continue, while he will also still be focusing his energy on his main project Mindshake, a label that will end this year having published more than 45 works since its conception.
