KRAMA is a collective, an independent initiative aiming to present a new outlook within the art scene of Athens and beyond. Through a multidisciplinary approach, we bring together different forms of artistic expression in an effort to create a dialogue that transcends creative fields and geographical boundaries. At the core of KRAMA lies a desire to create a space (tangible or intangible) for artists to converse, experiment, merge or deviate and ultimately form a community with shared commonalities and unique differences on the fringes of mainstream culture.

Inspired by a trip to mount Erymanthus and W. Burroughs' "The Ghost Lemurs of Madagascar", this 15 minute sound narrative includes four unreleased tracks patched together in December 2020 and revived specifically for the "Krama Entries" series. Part sonic-collage, part exploration of a natural landscape, this short sound journey aims to bring together the "sorcerous culture of Lemurian tradition" and the misty beauty of the peaks and ridges of northwestern Peloponnese.

Music from the upcoming release “Spinepop”, following the self-titled debut album  “Techniseptic” on Sub Lexia Records.  Techniseptic transposes brainwave patterns, internal organ activities, subtle influences of external fields and tools for meditation into an assembly of musical compositions. The album "Spinepop" constructs a metamorphic auditory experience where the human body becomes a conduit for biomechanical synergies. 

Imagine the vivid illumination of brain neurons and neurological impulses in an ethereal fractal chorus, the pressurised drones of the bloodstream, the emanating rhythms from the heart and foreign pulses § codes flying through the tissues. This experiment pushes the conventional boundaries of ambient and electronic music by translating unpredictably complex bodily functions, harmonizing healing practices and disruptive radiant frequencies of the world § cosmos into a symphony of bio-electric sounds. 

This musical séance envelops the listener into an awareness of self and its fluid nature, intertwining the internal communications and the omnipresent outer forces, where the intimate language of the body reconstructs itself. Through ceremonial healing practices and hypnosis, the boundaries between the self and the surrounding ambient phenomena dissolve, leaving behind an indelible mark on the consciousness of the beholder. 

- Techniseptic is an experimental ambient/techno music project by the artist Jokūbas Čižikas, created in 2018.

This became more of a collage than a mix. For some time I had this idea to write a series of compositions on rivers, which grew into a semi-research-semi-artistic project on the sound of the flow of water in a very abstract sense in its current state. Somehow water is a very interesting thing to me, it's like the medium of life - all, that exists, is because of water, yet water, as an entity, also has a life of its own - it filters out of the soil into basins, that collect it and it flows down rivers to lakes and the sea, then circulating all around and evaporating into clouds which rain it down and the cycle restarts again. Somewhere within this cycle it takes a detour and becomes, well, us, and everything around us - the concrete for our buildings, the lifeblood of plants and fungi, it churns turbines in hydroelectric plants to power our cities, we're 70% water ourselves, wherever you look, there's water. This somehow has a certain mysticism to me, I haven't yet verbalised it, I think, but maybe that's even better, to put it into sound, in a sense, this collage is like a retracing of the path of water, from the river, to and out the sea and laying down in humans.

The first-person perspective, coupled with stealth mechanics, pits you against eerie entities in a soul battleground. 

You can never win, but you can never lose.

P.S.: What I believed to be my blood on your hands turned out to be a decaying body.
