Stamping his signature groove all over Podcast #027 is sound craftsman and finely attuned music temper, Dahu. About Tim:

What first started as a simple tendency for liking different music than the music on the radio, eventually led the 16 years old and very talented Tim Engelhardt to write music for the club with a compositional, musical and elegant but very mature and emotional approach.

He lives in the german „Westerwald“, which you maybe know as the territory where Dominik Eulberg is doing his famous nature-inspired music, and that is as well the case with Tim. If you grow up in a place like this, it’s very likely to be conscious about nature.

Always being impressed and inspired by the sound of Keith Jarrett, Mike Oldfield, Orbital or more recently, Gui Boratto, Robert Babicz and of course Dominik Eulberg, Tim started to produce in 2011,  especially under guidance and instructions from Andreas Lindemann, who also gave Tim the chance to publish his first vinyls on his label PMP, resulting in pieces like his fantastic take on Solee’s „Jule“, which topped the chillout-charts for more than 80 weeks, and after that, remixes for legends like Boris Brejcha and Dr. Kucho.
After a very long experimenting-phase of about 3 years, which saw him releasing his first solo vinyl on PMP, which was rated 6/6 in the german raveline mag, as well as a few high quality remixes and EPs on highly appreciated labels like Parquet Recordings, Ostwind Records, Amuse Gueule, Vitalik, HNQO’s Playperview, Dantze, his music takes a very focused direction now.

Besides that, he’s working on pieces for the precious LA-based subtract music, who had one of the biggest tunes of 2012 with Guy J’s remix of Gill Norris’ classic „Forme“ and more recently, the Martin Buttrich remix of „Set Her Free“ by Vinayak A and he has done a phenomenal remix for his longtime idol Robert Babicz, which is set to be released on his Babiczstyle imprint, accompanied by remixes crafted by Guy J and the almighty John Digweed. Besides that he did remixes for Gabriel Ananda and others as well as a string of other compositions on highly acclaimed labels to be unleashed soon.

Receiving constant support from top players like Robert Babicz, Gabriel Ananda, Slam, Paul Hazendonk, Acid Pauli or Oliver Schories the future for Tim is set to be a bright one.

Liveset of Berlin-based DJ and producer Rampue for the <a href="http://Byte.fm" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Byte.fm</a> show of Stiff Little Spinners...

Dieser Mix ist Rampues erstes eigenes Liveset. Die Tracks dazu hat er im Zeitraum zwischen Spätsommer und
Winter 2011 in seinem Zimmer in Neukölln gemacht.Seinen Lebensunterhalt verdiente er in dieser Zeit hauptsächlich mit schlecht bezahlten DJ-Jobs in bundesdeutschen Jugendzentren und kleinen Clubs. Das provinzielle Publikum verstörte er dabei mehr als einmal mit seinen innovativen Mixen zwischen House,
Deephouse, Disco, Dubstep und Wave. Das war zu viel für manchen Bauern. In Magdeburg ist sogar der Clubchef höchst selbst eingeschritten um den Abend mit einer geballten Ladung Schranz noch zu retten.
Rampue ist das egal. Er glaubt an seinen Geschmack und seine Tracks.

Nach mehreren DJ Sets für Stift little Spinners ist dies sein erstes Live Set.

Thugfucker Live from Robot Heart - Burning Man 2012

As a taster for the 2k13 season here is a new mix from one of our residents Leith.

This year we'll be showcasing our usual combination of fresh music, original set up and state of the art soundsystem in three different locations. 

Our first event - Tale of Us - will take place on the beach of the Nahrawess hotel in Hammamet - a breathtaking venue with both seaview and swimming pool. Our second event - Amirali - will take place on Sunday 30 June Ecovillage in Sousse, a very unique venue which fits perfectly with our 2k13 theme. 
As you can see, we also changed the opening times starting slightly later and finishing at 1am making the HYPE experience last a bit longer.
As you would have noticed, this year's theme is our beloved continent - Africa. Feel free to match you dress to the theme!
Expect the usual authentic atmosphere alongside numerous surprises!
