Strange World

First song on the easel. Experimenting with different sounds.

Rhythm sequencing done by using the step sequencer sliders to control LPG state for the single note melody and the step sequencer switches to trigger the envelope generator for the bass notes. Bass is transposed with the 218r-keyboard.

Trying out some diatonic movement with the help of the preset pads on the 218r.

Nangiala

Short multitrack experiment using only the Buchla as a sound source. All drums, basslines, melodies and other stuff is from the 208r with some help from the 281r for envelopes and lfo's, the 2oc for helping with holding a steady 120bpm rhythm and 218r for playing melodies, riffs and basslines.
I cheated a bit with the drums and sampled various kick, snare and hi-hat like sounds and then multilayered the kick and snare. Since I have no noise source or non lpg-filters in the buchla (yet...) i had to use some extreme fm settings together with software-filtering to achieve some of the drum sound components. The drums were then sequenced in Ableton Live.
The Eventide H9 was used for reverbs and delays.

Freeform Bebop Techno

Playing with polyrhythms. Using the 208 sequencer quantized by the 2OC to play a melody over a steady bass beat from the mod oscillator. Varying melody notes and timbre on the fly. Different polyrhythm from Part 1 and also played with varying the rhythm of the melody with the sequencer switches.

Space Of Aides - Part 2

Another test of my Synthesizers.com Box11 modular after the last rearrangement of modules. I always seem to wish I could fit at least one to three more modules in, no matter how large or small the case is! ;-)
