Following the great success of Detroit Swindle's "Boxed Out" Album we present you the second single take out. Their collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne on “64 Ways" already gained massive support from DJ's and radio stations around the globe in the past weeks and we're proud to present you this remix pack with none other than Kerri Chandler, Kraak & Smaak and Detroit Swindle's remix of Detroit Swindle (Inception anyone?).

It's an honor to have one of the godfathers of House: Kerri Chandler on remix duties. He has been a great supporter of the guys over the past years, often showing off his piano skill over "Guess What" and generally supporting a lot of The Swindlers tunes. He turned the original version of "64 Ways" in a true Kerri "Kaoz" Chandler tune with the use of his trademark key progressions and drums. Don't miss out on the instrumental if vocals aren't really your thing.

The second remix is done by the guys themselves and oh boy what a monster tune it is! Stripped down to just a few basics from the original, adding a lovely filtered key loop, they made a deep dance floor burner in true Swindle style: "swing, drop, and everything else".

As a final to this fine remix pack we asked fellow Dutch house heads Kraak & Smaak to return the favor on the remix tip after Detroit Swindle remixed their track "The future is yours" with Ben Westbeech. They came up with a full on Disco House stomper, with a bass line that will stick with you for the rest of the day and an irresistible disco feel.

In 2001, Zimbabwe born Adam Metcalfe moved to Cape Town, South Africa & fell in love with Psy Trance. By 2004 he had began to produce & perfect his sound, striving for the best quality production in high tech trance, keeping it fun, psychedelic & a little bit twisted. With the release of his 2008 album, “Artelligent”, his unique offbeat & forward- thinking sound captivated festivals and parties worldwide, sparking a non-stop whirlwind of international gigging. Today he has solidified himself as one of South Africa’s most prolific EDM producers, ranking 5th in DJ MAG’s 2012 Top SA DJ’s. 2014 sees Headroom locked away in his studio, working on his highly anticipated 2nd album.

Freedom Fighters is Shahaf Efrat (1989), Based in Tel Aviv, Israel.  He is making music since 2005 and with a rapid rise to fame, performing worldwide since 2007. Day.din aka Deniz Aydin started his musical career not only by kick-drumming with about 4 and a half month before birth with a hard driven 4-to-the-floor beat as his mother keeps telling with her eyes rolling, no, he also joined the house infected party crowd when he was about 16 years old, totally impressed by what he was exposed to on psytrance parties.

In an instant, he let his half-eaten strawberry cheesecake fall to the ground, left his former world behind, jumped onto this new explored electro express, screamed "This is the love that is catching me! From now on, half my life will consist of the rapture for this rising love!", then he listened carefully while the twenty-first floorbeats pop up and started to dance!

The rest of the story is short in the telling. He began to deejay, had long and nice nights with his personal vinyl selection on the tables and then he started to produce his own sounds in 2002. Since then, things happened quickly, the first release came up in 2004, the local Hamburg scene recognized him and his increased musical skills brought him to his present state: Being one of the most demanded progressive trance acts around. Playing his gigs all around the globe, releasing tracks on many different labels, creating several albums - which got all to release on his home base record label, Spin Twist records - influencing the whole psytrance scene with his sound and last but not least: he plays music to make sure that you'll keep smiling and that your feet will stomp!

Having established themselves as a reliable source of deep and techno house treats, Axe on Wax has decided to launch a sub-label to cater for "grittier" material. The first missive on Axe Trax comes from previously unheard Sydney duo "Sonderr". Their trademark sound is crusty, analogue sounding, and smothered in tape hiss. Even so, there's a drowsy beauty to standout cut "All My Dreams", despite the presence of a booming, sub-heavy bassline and clattering, all-action drum machine beats. The deeper and dreamier "Finding Time" is almost as good, with the duo holding back on the intensity in favour of rich ambient house chords, eyes-closed melody lines, and fizzing, Motor City inspired drums. Here premiered, Mall Grab's remix of the same track is, rather predictably, also rather good ;) Out 25th of April

Permanent Vacation from Munich is definitely among our favorite labels since its beginning. Countless artists we love signed remarkable productions on it and years after years , the quality still stands. After a couple of well received remixes, here comes the first full grown ep by Benjamin Fröhlich, one of the two label headhonchos. The range spans from synth-driven electro to hypnotic beat tools, industrial acid jams and 90s UK-influenced - melodic breakbeat. As a somewhat Gallic groove emerges, he and his girlfriend are in his car and heading south, driven on by the swing of the percussion. Will he find his deliverance On The Continent?

Next up, Ruf Dug steps in with a spacious electronic reggae-esque remix, leading up to a killer piano line which pushes the groove straight onto the Autoroute. C'est magnifique.

PREMIERE : Barnaby Bruce - On The Continent (Ruf Dug Remix)

Marking their label launch with an inaugural 12” of soulful wax, London-based collective REVIVEHER will be releasing a bag of remixes for Sultan Shake’s “Interstellar Love”; a funked-up psychedelic groove of extra-dimensional proportions.

Laying his grace on the track sees none other than BR fav Young Marco. If you’ve delved into our archives, you’ll know how this Dutch staple always brings the heat. His remix follows in the same vein, with a stripped-back tribal rework of the original that exchanges vocals for infectious percussive panache. Steel drums, scuttling bongos, and shimmering remnants of the original’s synth work are sure to get you going.

REVIVEHER's debut release drops on 12" on 7th October, with the digital version following suit on the 21st October.

We've been tight with Peckham collective and record label Rhythm Section for a long time now, and catching wind of a new release is always a very big deal. Aukland-born and Peckham-based duo Chaos in the CBD have been on our radar for a minute. You'll probably know these two as the hands behind their seminal debut Midnight in Peckham, released last year. Their new release, Invisible Spectrum, doesn't disappoint. Our favourite of the tracks, "Significant Others" brings the EP to its peak with heavy jazz influences, a bongo beat and serious dance capabilities. Get ready to be wrapped up in the kind of groove that makes you forget all the bad stuff.

Our pick is the remix from fellow Stockholm duo @mountliberationunlimited, fresh from their recent EP release on Permanent Vacation. Their 'Ethereal Teen Dream Version' of lead track 'Downstreamed' is... well, let's just say the title is pretty apt. Flirting with transcendence but remaining tethered to the ground, the duo create a vibrant patchwork of shimmering chords.

CAPTAIN HOOK is the new project by Reshef Harari, from the center of Israel, who is already well-known as being half of the duo QUANTIZE as well as for his techno project SHEFF.

After the release of the debut Quantize album at late 2008 on Iboga Records he has been in high demand on dance floors across the globe – from Universo Paralello, XXXPerience, Tribe, Playground & Atmosphere in South America to Burning Man & Symbiosis in the US as well as some of the biggest festivals on the European scene, such as Sonica, Antaris and Hadra, where Quantize have pumped out their unique fusion of psychedelic progressive techno trance. As already mentioned, he has been releasing techno-tunes on his own for a while with the project Sheff, with tunes heavily supported by key players like Umek, Erphun, and Perfect Stranger, and now the time has come for a solo-exploration of the progressive side of psychedelic trance with the new project Captain Hook! Heavy basslines, crunchy grooves, and a sound very suited for nighttime are the ingredients, with a focus strictly for the dance floor, things are looking very interesting for the coming months as well as 2011. Releases are on the way on Iboga Records, Echoes, Plusquam, and Blue Tunes including remixes of Ace Ventura, Neelix, Ritmo, Easy Riders, and Psysex as well as collaborations with Tetrameth, Zen Mechanics, and Ace Ventura.
