David Live is the first official live album by David Bowie, originally released by RCA Records in 29 October 1974. The album was recorded in July of that year, on the initial leg of Bowie's Diamond Dogs Tour, at the Tower Theater in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. The second leg, a more soul-oriented affair following recording sessions in Philadelphia for the bulk of Young Americans, would be renamed 'the Soul tour', as reflected on the live releases, Cracked Actor (Live Los Angeles '74) (2017) and I'm Only Dancing (The Soul Tour 74) (2020).The album catches Bowie in transition from the Ziggy Stardust/Aladdin Sane glam-rock era of his career to the 'plastic soul' of Young Americans.[While the cover featured a picture of Bowie in his latest soul threads – baggy trouser suit complete with shoulder pads and braces from October 1974 – the music was recorded in July of that year when he was showcasing his two most recent studio albums of original material, Diamond Dogs and Aladdin Sane, as well as selected favourites from Ziggy Stardust and earlier.The tour was Bowie's most ambitious to date, featuring a giant set designed to evoke "Hunger City", the post-apocalyptic setting for Diamond Dogs, and his largest band, led by Michael Kamen. Ziggy Stardust: The Motion Picture is a live album by David Bowie, corresponding to the film of the same name. The music was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon in London on 3 July 1973, although the album was not issued by RCA Records until 1983. Prior to that it had existed in bootleg form, notably His Masters Voice – Bowie and the Spiders From Mars’ Last Stand.The sound was remixed by Tony Visconti and Richard Tozzoli using the original 16 track tapes. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of All the Young Dudes, the 5th studio album by the English rock band Mott the Hoople, released in 8 September 1972.All the Young Dudes was a turning point for the then-struggling British band. Mott the Hoople were on the verge of breaking up when David Bowie stepped in and gave them the song "All the Young Dudes". Bowie also produced the album, which took Mott "from potential has-beens to avatars of the glam rock movement". The title track, "All the Young Dudes", was released as a single prior to the album and charted worldwide, becoming the "ultimate '70s glitterkid anthem". "Sweet Jane", a cover of the Velvet Underground song from their 1970 album Loaded, was issued as a single In 2003, the album was ranked No. 491 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time. In 2012's revised list, the magazine ranked it at No. 484, saying, "Mott would sound more soulful but never more sexy or glittery." Tracklist:

Sadanthem the debut release from New York based Lostdog in Loveland, is a lush soundscape of infectious melodies with poignant stories told through a sophisticated ensemble of sounds and a deep luscious voice. What makes this record truly special is David Bowie’s pianist Mike Garson and Regina Spektor’s cellist, Yoed Nir adding to the collective layers of instruments to complete the sound of Lostdog in Loveland, taking glam rock into an unexpected new realm.
The stand-out track is a cover of Roxy Music’s, Mother of Pearl. Lostdog in Loveland is able to make it their own with a slight flamboyant intimacy while paying undeviated respect to a classic masterpiece. Not an easy feat.
The songs on sadanthem are mostly introspective and touches on an array of themes. Irene Cara Escalera (18 March 1959 – 25 November 2022) was an American singer and actress. the singer best known for the title tracks of Fame and Flashdance, has died aged 63 on 25 November 2022
Cara won an Oscar for the song Flashdance... What A Feeling from the 1980s hit movie Flashdance and has been an icon of her generation.

Ziggy Stardust wrote the blueprint for David Bowie's hard-rocking glam, and Aladdin Sane essentially follows the pattern, for both better and worse. A lighter affair than Ziggy Stardust, Aladdin Sane is actually a stranger album than its predecessor, buoyed by bizarre lounge-jazz flourishes from pianist Mick Garson and a handful of winding, vaguely experimental songs. Bowie abandons his futuristic obsessions to concentrate on the detached cool of New York and London hipsters, as on the compressed rockers "Watch That Man," "Cracked Actor," and "The Jean Genie." Bowie follows the hard stuff with the jazzy, dissonant sprawls of "Lady Grinning Soul," "Aladdin Sane," and "Time," all of which manage to be both campy and avant-garde simultaneously, while the sweepingly cinematic "Drive-In Saturday" is a soaring fusion of sci-fi doo wop and melodramatic teenage glam. He lets his paranoia slip through in the clenched rhythms of "Panic in Detroit," as well as on his oddly clueless cover of "Let's Spend the Night Together." "Major Tom is a fictional astronaut referenced in David Bowie's songs "Space Oddity", "Ashes to Ashes","Hallo Spaceboy","New Killer Star" and "Blackstar".Although never mentioned in the song, an astronaut, possibly Major Tom, does make an appearance in the music video for the song "Slow Burn"..German singer Peter Schilling retold and continued the story of Major Tom in his late 1982 release "Major Tom (völlig losgelöst)", which covered as instrumental by Max Greger.The Tea Party created a song entitled "Empty Glass". The song is written from the perspective of an unnamed person who is questioning Major Tom intensely about the purpose of life. Bowie assembled a new backing band consisting of guitarist Mick Ronson, bassist Trevor Bolder and drummer Mick Woodmansey,Future Yes member Rick Wakeman contributed on piano. Bowie co-produced the album with Ken Scott.His lyrical concerns on the record range from the compulsive nature of artistic reinvention on "Changes", to occultism and Nietzschean philosophy on "Oh! You Pretty Things" and "Quicksand"; several songs make cultural and literary references. He was also inspired by his stateside tour to write songs dedicated to three American icons: Andy Warhol, Bob Dylan, and Lou Reed. The song "Kooks" was dedicated to Bowie's newborn son Duncan.Upon release, Hunky Dory and its lead single "Changes" received little promotion from RCA who were wary that Bowie would transform his image shortly.
