Neurolabz is the musical project of French producers and friends Stephane Rey and Thomas Marche. After experimenting in their own genre for years under their solo alias Naolabz and Neuronod, they decided to join forces and benefit from their similar approach to music, sound design and ambiences to create Neurolabz in 2015. Focused on futuristic and twisted dark progressive, their music is deep, groovy, hypnotic and widely inspired by science-fiction, space exploration, movies and TV-Shows, inviting the listener to dive into always evolving journeys. This exclusive mix is showcasing their new debut album "Outer Wilds".

Oco - The Gardens 41 - Boom Festival 2022

Mumijo, a Sanskrit word for natures blessing known to us as shilajit. This mineral rich substance oozes from the mountains of the Himalayas. A healing magic given to those seeking health and well being. We were honored to say yes to collaborating with Pürblack who asked if we would imbue prayer into this special new product called ‘White Rabbit’; Shilajit infused with herbal and mineral medicines keyed to open gateways of healing for us all.
In a world in need of nature’s blessing more now than ever, it was an honor to sit and dedicate this album to the earth and her cures. We sing the songs of remembrance to re unite our minds with the body to open the doors of awakening.

The creation of this album was approached in a different way from our previous works. The backbone of the album was made with an orchestra of analog and digital hardware drum machines and synthesizers, combined with percussion and instruments in a live studio jam.

KORNELIA is joining us at Ozora this summer: "I invite you to sway with me to the music of my favorite electronic producers who explore equally their own culture and take deep dives in the other worlds." A Polish-born DJ, record collector, and creator of the Ladies on Records project, she is also a curator and storyteller. Her passion for music brought her to Turkey, where she has lived in Istanbul since 2015. She has curated two music compilations—Uzelli Psychedelic Anadolu and Turkish Ladies—shining a new light on Turkey’s rich musical heritage.  Her DJ sets are filled with obscure dancefloor shakers from around the world, along with Turkish and Middle Eastern rarities, and fresh gems from the global groove scene. Drawing from 1970s organic sounds, jazz, and world music, her eclectic selections bridge cultures and eras, creating a unique journey on the dancefloor.

D.K. creates enchanting sounds through his electronic experimentation. Meandering pads and other worldly ambient synth sounds merge to give life to releases such as 'Live At The Edge' released earlier this year on 12th Isle, while samples of the Far East and organic percussive rhythms create an energy and playfulness found on releases such as his trilogy for Parisian label Antinote; a signature touch often interweaved within his music often joined by slamming synths and deep basslines designed for the dance floor.

Much like his latest release on Good Morning Tapes, this mix explores the latter, delving into the darker reaches of D.K.'s sound, ensnaring listeners with hypnotic, high-energy percussion, bewitching vocal snippets and menacing bass that'll have you captivated from the beginning - welcome D.K.

Commanding attention across dance-floors globally, Gqom’s minimalist, bass-heavy sound is being propelled far beyond the boarders of Durban, much, in-part to DJ Lag’s superb production skills, transforming a sub-genre of house – one that began by soundtracking taxi trips around Durban - to an enviably innovative participant of an exciting global scene. Having previously worked with the likes of Beyoncé, KOKOKO! and Hyperdub, his latest release 'Jungle' is a sublime example of Lag's infectious sound and a clear example of why his music continues to gather critical acclaim worldwide.

Since witnessing this energetic sound in full-effect at Dimensions 2018, we've been in talks to have him join our mix series... the time has come - and it was worth every bit of the wait. Here, with mix 223 for our series, we welcome DJ Lag.
