"I Was Small" is an "alternate" version of a song I released in 2018 (When I was Small). I felt this song needed to be be much more stripped down than the version I originally released and this was the result. It was much more a recording exercise than anything else so it never made last years album.

I Was Small

This song blends acoustic guitar and tremolo with an orchestral background. The track continues to build in intensity and add instruments as the song progresses. The lyrics tell the story of a difficult decision to leave home and live in Switzerland for a time, but in the end more was found than ever could be imagined. Hope all the listeners enjoy it!
