Betty Ni - in Chinese: Ni Ying Chun - is a singer and actor based in Shanghai.

She usually sings in Chinese, having been trained in a traditional Chinese storytelling and opera singing style called Ping Tan. Ping Tan was very popular in 1920s & 30s Shanghai and traveled to Hong Kong in the 1950s with the Shanghai elite. 

Recently, Ping Tan has been enjoying a bit of a revival in Shanghai, Hong Kong and the rest of China, in part due to Wong Kar Wai's successful film "In the Mood for Love" released in 2000. Starring Tony Leung and Maggie Cheung, the film's soundtrack features several Ping Tan songs popular in Hong Kong in the 1960s.

Here is a Chinese song called Qing Tan with a modern arrangement.

Betty also likes to sing in English, having in fact learned to speak English by singing English pop songs. She decided to record "You Raise Me Up" after her son brought home a version by Westlife and played it in the car. Repeatedly!

Dreamtwinz is a pop music duo made up of identical twin brothers Greem and Eisenhower Mwenisongole who are Singers,Dancers,Songwriters and Composers.

Greem and Eisenhower were born on 13th December 1991 in Zambezi,Zambia and grew up in Solwezi,Zambia.Alternating between the two towns,they developed their musical talent by miming popular pop songs by Backstreet Boys and Westlife at local school functions at an early age of eleven years and later in their high school days included popular songs by P-Square and Michael Jackson.They then started writing their own songs when they were still in high school.The first ever song that was written was "In My Dreams" which was later released as their first ever single on May 7,2011 and later came to release their second single “Live Another Day”,The singles are available on Itunes at http://smarturl.it/8x5j9p or on the official website at www.dreamtwinz.com/music and on other online stores.

Greeam and Eisenhower went on a music break in order to finish their tertiary Education. Since thier completion of school Dreamtwinz have returned to music and have now come to release their first ever album titled "Heyday" on 1 February 2017. Eisenhower is now a profesional music producer and produced three quarters of the instrumentals on the Heyday album. Dreamtwinz write and compose all their songs themselves.
In 2016 Dreamtwinz launced their self owned record label "Twinzfly Records" and are currently the only artists signed to it. Their latest album titled "Heyday" which came out on 1 february 2017 is their first ever album and was released under Twinzfly Records. Chris Lowe is a 25 year old talented compere and singer who has just recently moved to Tenerife to fulfill his ambitions of becoming a full time professional singer and to bring something different to the islands music scene. Now based in the Playa De Las Americas are and singing a wide variety of different songs and artists both new and old such as Craig David, Westlife, R Kelly and many more.

Chris has been singing back in Manchester in the pub Kareoke scene for around five years before deciding to take his career to the next level in the bars and clubs of Tenerife South. Already confident in his abilities to compete with the already established acts and receiving praise after each performance he is eager to progress and share his love for music with the masses.

Monte Karlo - Biography
Monte Karlo (real name Kalle Engström) is a Swedish songwriter, producer and DJ. He's currently spending his time between Stockholm, London and Los Angeles. 
Since the start of his career in legendary Cheiron Studios in Stockholm, his work has been seen on top of the charts all over the world, including the Billboard US, UK and Japan charts. One of his latest accomplishment was writing and producing the song "Party People" by US artist Erika Jayne which went #1 on the US Billboard Dance Chart. He also wrote the song "Run Devil Run" for Asian supergroup Girls Generation which went #1 throughout the charts in Asia last year.
Monte Karlo's credits also includes writing and producing for stars like Celine Dion, The Saturdays, Lindsay Lohan, Westlife, Danni Minoque and Ace Of Base, just to name a few.
After ten years of producing songs for major international artists, Monte Karlo decided to take the next step in his career and he is now working on his first solo album as a producer. Biography

Jonathan and Sean make a great duo as both have amazing music backgrounds which could probably be the main reason that brought Street Light Mist together.
Jonathan aka Skinny J’s parents are deeply involved in church music and they also perform for a number of local gospel music recordings, thus making music nothing new to him. As a child he was involved in his school/church choir, played drums in church and eventually learnt the guitar and piano too. Initially wanting to be a DJ (much to his own surprise now!) made him start to hunt for mixing softwares and stumbled into something entirely different due to a salesman’s misunderstanding of what he wanted. Trying and failing to import music in to the newly acquired software to get his first mix underway he ended up sampling his own beat. This is where he found his new passion and he began to ‘follow his heart’. It was his love for music production that grew in to what it is today. So by a simple mistake of a salesman’s misunderstanding, today Skinny J’s lifetime ambition turned into something much more amazing!!

Talking about his musical tastes, it changed from time to time. Initially a BIG TIME fan of Westlife and MLTR he moved on with the trend in to rock, heavy metal and neo classical rock - Yngwie Malmsteen being one of his favourites. Eventually he shifted to hip hop, R&B, and electro/dance and that remains as his preferable genre of music although other genres are most welcome in his playlists. However, he also listens to the smooth tunes of Gold FM in the mornings! His main influences when it comes to production are artists like Group 1 Crew, TobyMac, Chris Brown and Taio Cruz...

Sean aka Seany C had a somewhat similar entrance in to a musical life. His dad is a professional musician back in Sri Lanka and a young Sean would always join his dad for band practice. Growing up he never had a favourite nursery rhyme. His mom and dad remind him of how he used to belt out Walk Of Life by the Dire Straits and Say You Say Me by Lionel Richie and to date both songs remain as two of his top favourite, right behind Hotel California and Sultans of Swing. While everyone in the family - cousins, uncles, aunts and even his brother were interested in learning to play the Guitar at an early age Sean was more inclined to playing the keys since that was his 5th birthday present. But still he concentrated more on singing and used to enjoy the family parties. His first stage performance was at a young age of 7 years, and from there on it was something regular to perform with his dad’s band. Sean was also involved with the school choir and performed at a few of the college shows whilst in School. He has worked previously on some Christian Albums as well as two commercial albums for a friend.

Sean’s taste for music is very wide; being exposed to the 60s 70s and 80s at a very young age he enjoys music by Lionel Richie, Dire Straits, Beatles, John Denver, Queen, Bon Jovi, The Bangles, Marvin Gaye and the Commodores, Bee Gees, ABBA, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, The Jackson 5, Stevie Wonder and so much more. Much later during his school days and when the boy and girl band era was in motion, Back Street Boys, Westlife, Spice Girls, Boys II Men, Boyzone and N Sync were some of his favourites. But the love for the golden oldies never died and to date even with music taste from artists like Eminem, Snoop Dog, Neo, Fun, Pink, Nickleback, Linkin Park, System of a Down, Manson and many other similar artists his love for his first musical exposure never died. As you can see, and as Sean says too, “I am a musical supermarket. I have something of everything and love it all.” :)

Then came the moment on the conception of Street Light Mist; even though they went to the same school and their parents knew each other, the duo did not team up until they really got to know each other when they joined the church choir and also the Kandy Christian Youth Club. A brief conversation in between practices was when the idea was conceived in 2005. Jonathan had just started production and given Sean a few of his tracks - one that Sean recalls and is still on his playlist, is Flute Dream. That's when they really started to explore the possibilities of working together. Initially they tried to kick it off by doing 2 original tracks but never really got down to releasing them even though the production and recording of the song was completed. This was back in 2008. Finally after a few years, here they are, lighting the spark to their musical passion! With the first release taking off the ground and more to come, it’s going to be an awesome journey with its final destination punched in to the Navigational System.
