Two Accra's exist – the old and modern, the marginalized and that epitomized in the logic of urban planning practices that involve gentrification. Upscale Western archetypes push away indigenous urban residents who are unable to afford the housing rates, transit and burden of amenities. Maybe music and art or creative expressions could be bridges between the people and the government, where what we put out there can be realized?
