Explorer of vastly unmapped sonic rangelands, Berlin-based operator Casual Treatment has been trading his wares on some of today’s most highly regarded outlets, including Jeff Mills’ Axis Records, Hayes Collective and Children of Tomorrow. Not one to do it by the book, CT has been geared towards tearing apart dull standards and conventions through ever incendiary blends of tremor-inducing kicks, off-kilter machine talk and that sense of bold, exploratory floor occultism that flows wildly across the whole of his output. Techno as it should have always been and remained: daring, soulful and transporting to the fullest. Not so casual after all.

Originally from the south of Spain, the passionate artist started her musical journey in the city of Barcelona by the age of 18. Her style moved forward strongly and independent when eventually crossing paths and partnering up with Angioma with Room Lab’s streaming venues and X concept by Room Trax promoted parties all around the city.

Her fusion of trippy sounds and hypnotic techno has taken her to several dj performances on both, national and international scale now starting from Apolo in Barcelona to Egg Club in London and About Blank Club or RSO in Berlin - just to name a few.
It’s been no secret with the German capital of Berlin becoming her new residence.

Her deep passion for the electronic music scene grounds where others refuse to show respect.

And so it’s been her last solo release on Room Trax -¨ Dirty Game¨ After first steps in the game it’s not a surprise at all that her path has just revealed the first glimpse of what promises to be a bright shining future.

Thoms Traxx is a gentle soul with fierce determination and a meticulous mindset - all traits that reflect his creations and performances. He has a strong predilection for the more hypnotic & rhythmic soundscapes with the aim to deliver a high-energy level storyline that shifts the listener into a transcendental state. @benales is a DJ and producer known for his unique blend of raw, dark, and deep techno and house, with nods to Detroit influences. Based in France, he has been making waves in the underground techno scene since the late 90s. With an extensive vinyl collection and a talent for selecting tracks that resonate with crowds, Benales has become a respected DJ in Europe, regularly playing at top clubs such as Tresor, Rex Club, and Le Sucre.
Aside from his skills behind the decks, Benales is also a gifted music producer. He has released several EPs and remixes on acclaimed labels such as Sino, KEY Vinyl, Suburban Avenue, Analog Solutions, Knotweed, Diffuse Reality, and more.

Since Roseen was infected by electronic music in the early nineties, he has been heavily influenced by American techno from Detroit. The coordinates Berlin, New York, Birmingham and Brighton also play a significant role. All these influences are incorporated into his productions and DJ sets.
      
As producer, DJ, label co-owner and second half of the duo Ausgang, Roseen is largely unnoticed and active in obscurity. His releases are straightforward, raw and pushing. In his understanding, Techno must have a pure character. A naivety is inherent in the music; vibrancy arises from spontaneous and sketchy moments. This spirit is often tried to be imitated or copied, but rarely achieved. For Roseen, that is the challenge of making music but by listening closely, you can hear this in both his productions and DJ sets.

The following series was founded to acknowledge producers for their influence on shaping the sound in the electronic music genre while simultaneously showcasing the distinctive musical style of each artist, featuring both released and unreleased music in an all-original podcast format.

K92 aims to reintroduce a sense of mystery surrounding artists by bringing back the focus on the music itself and creating a blank slate for listeners to develop their own interpretations. As a result, the sets on this platform do not include any press photographs or biographies. Instead, each set has been personally signed by the artist to complete their signature sound.

XONO Invites - Rene Wise 

For this special anniversary edition of my invite series. I am extremely delighted to welcome Rene Wise on to the show. 

Real name “Andrew Shobeiri” has been making some immense progress within the industry so far. With only 2 years on the professional circuit this talented young artist as managed to do some things only other artists can dream of.

With two outstanding releases on Luke Slaters infamous "Mote Evolver" label, as well as two unforgettable shows at Berlin’s world renounced Berghain. Whilst managing to gain the attention of some the best in the scene. But its well deserved for this passionate producer, Spending hundreds of hours carefully creating his unique sound which is infectious with rhythm and pure groove. His dedication and commitment to the music really speaks for it self. Since his arrival he has managed to maintain and adapt to challenging demand of the industry. In return he has been able to travel internationally showcase his sound as far as South Africa and many others places. 

On this episode i asked Rene about his journey so far and what it’s taken for him to get to the top of his game in such a short period of time. Plus he had contributed a guest mix that will dance you through to the early early hours.
