Archaeological evidence from prehistoric times suggests that the Earth was once viewed as a living, female being. Ancient texts and mythologies support the idea of a female deity associated with the earth and all life. The Phyrigian Earth Mother Kybele was one such figure among many and represented the earth, mountains, caverns, and all nature, the birth of humanity, the universe and everything in it. 

Inspired by this timeless and universal vision, this project is dedicated to featuring and celebrating the bounty and beauty of the creative works of women in music through special podcasts, original releases, and mixtapes curated by women producers, DJs, and musicians of a wide range of genres from around the world. 

In addition to highlighting the works of women in music, Kybele develops opportunities for broader inclusion of and greater collaboration among emerging and established artists  of all backgrounds through the "Friends of Kybele" series.

Musicocrats is a unique non-profit, worldwide and free-for-all group dedicated to music exploration through its members' activity. The group headquarters is on Facebook (check attached link), but now we have expended it also to SoundCloud! 
Our group is created by, and for, music lovers from all nationalities, genders, and colors. 

We aim to explore together the infinite audio galaxies and to push the boundaries by exchanging music, thoughts, ideas, and experiences.

Mexicano entusiasta de las artes, amante del sonido y las vibraciones. Actualmente viviendo en la ciudad de Mérida, Yucatán. Desde pequeño influenciado por la música y las artes escénicas es como empiezo a tener curiosidad por la creación musical, pero fue hasta la edad de los 16 años que empecé a darle seriedad y constancia a la producción. 

Niño Amarillo tiene la meta de incluir un mensaje "subliminal" de buena vibra y alegría con un buen ritmo para disfrutar en cada uno de sus tracks.

I'm a Mexican enthusiast of the arts, a lover of sound and vibrations. Currently living in the city of Mérida, Yucatán. From a young age influenced by music and the performing arts, it was when I began to be curious about musical creation, but it was until the age of 16 that I began to give seriousness and consistency to production. 

Niño Amarillo has the goal of including a "subliminal" message of good vibes and joy with a good rhythm on each of their tracks.

Dj Thumbelina aka Sandra Di Scianni. Originated from Los Angeles, Ca and for the last 26 years I've been  residing in Nelson, New Zealand and Golden Bay, New Zealand. I started my Dj career in 2009. I have performed at clubs such as Shark Club, Sting Ray, Baby G's Lounge, Devilles, Bar Berlin, Elsewhere, Liquid and private parties. I have been invited to play at Luminate Festival 2011 & 2013 along side artists such as Tripinstumble, Bloop, Eiten Reiter, Josh Tasman, Hedflux and many more.  In 2012, I formed an all female DJ crew called Beauties and the Beat which include DJ Gabs, Surya Masala and Serratonin.  We did regular monthly events at various venues in the Nelson/Tasman region of New Zealand.  The styles I love playing is blend of Trip Hop, Minimal Tek House. Deep House and Electo.
