Femmebot Grooves

Een heerlijke dj die vele stijlen beheerst en in haar eerste jaar al gelijk 50 optredens deed alsof het niks is. Ze bestormd de Nederlandse podia en festivals. Zo heeft ze onder andere al gestaan in Ahoy, Patronaat, Mezz, Spock, Breda Barst, Dynamo, Gigant en nog vele andere aansprekende locaties. 

Haar focus ligt op Disco en House, maar ze beheerst diverse stijlen variërend van Disco en House tot bijvoorbeeld 90's, Tech-House, Techno en Hip-Hop en vele varianten. 

Op het podium is Lisa zeer energiek en staat ze zelden stil. Ze maakt voortdurend contact met haar publiek en kleurt ze in haar sets zelden binnen de lijntjes. Hiermee is ze een zeer verfrissende verschijning en weet ze al snel een liefde op te bouwen met nieuwe fans voor haar sets. 

Lisa neemt ook regelmatig nieuwe mixtapes op en was ze ook al diverse malen te horen tijdens diverse radioshows.

In case you are wondering what the name Qamar Sol stands for, it means Moon (Arabic) and Sun (Spanish), both celestial bodies that are very dear to Qamar.

Every Friday at 21:00 hours CET you can listen to Qamar's radioshow Space Is The Place at www.dreamstreamradiorotterdam.nl In that show he will bring you a fine selection of current and classic electro tracks in a smooth one hour mix. Of course the mix will become available on this Soundcloud page the day after the show.

Qamar Sol emerged by mere coincidence during the Covid 19 pandemic when playing a Lloyd Stellar showcase in a livestream at The Loods H.O.F It was that moment the love for this music style was rediscovered and embraced. 

Growing up in a period of breakdancing, graffiti and hip hop,  Qamar’s musical youth was influenced with the music from groups and artists like Newcleus, Planet Patrol, Afrika Bambaataa, Kraftwerk, Hashim, Grandmaster Flash, Shanon, Whodini and many more was what laid the foundation for what Qamar does today.
