I have been obsessively collecting music ever since the age of 8 when I purchased my first few cassette tapes (Slick Rick, 2 Live Crew, & Metallica).  Growing up in the streets of Miami, I inevitably became ingrained with the spirits of Hip Hop, Booty Bass, Dancehall, & Freestyle.  Eventually a teenager in the early 90's, I felt an intense desire to expand intellectually, culturally, & musically.  I managed to unearth a few like minded individuals and immediately fell in love with the drum ‘n’ bass scene, seeking out any and every party I could find across the state.  After spending the next 10 years cranking out highly coveted mixtapes and amassing a formidable collection of hip hop, d & b, experimental, downtempo, & various other electronica, I finally decided it was time to officially represent my beloved underground scene as a DJ.

I became heavily influenced by the Florida Breakbeat scene throughout the early 2000's and, not long after that, I fully embraced House music after befriending several ridiculously talented local House DJ's.  By the mid 2000's, my confidence as a DJ was high and I was actively participating in underground music events throughout the state.

So what makes me stand out amongst the virtual sea of other DJ’s out there?  A full blown neurotic obsession with collecting music resulting in an unprecedented level of versatility.  Atom G, the Breaks DJ, has shared the stage w/ such luminaries as: Monk (from Rabbit In The Moon), Trip Theory, Andy Hughes, DJ Storm, Hyraulix, Duncan Beatz, and Shady Bass Mafia.  Atom G, the Drum ‘n’ Bass/Dubstep DJ, has opened up for legend AK1200 as well as Nerd Rage, Circle K, & Collaborator.  Atom G, the House DJ, has played alongside Tech stars DJ Three, Una Slim, and Velvet Elvis.  In addition, I have held weekly DJ residencies in many of SW Florida’s finer venues throughout the years and is a current resident of Blue Martini (http://www.bluemartinilounge.com/), Blu Sushi (www.BluSushi.com), as well as Burn (http://burnbyrockypatel.com/).  I was also a resident DJ at Mixtape (www.facebook.com/mixtapeparty), which was SWFL's longest running and most beloved night for underground bass music.

Incorporating elements of uplifting dub and global bass, Living Light’s productions sweep listeners on intricate musical journeys aimed at enchanting the soul. She has toured extensively as both a solo artist and live band keyboardist, and has been a multi-faceted presence in the global festival scene for over a decade. Living Light's 7th album drops late fall 2025, with her previous albums featuring collaborations with Simon Posford (Shpongle), Gabriel Le Mar (The Saafi Brothers), and Chris Barker (Ott & The All-Seeing I), as well as a remix album featuring Kaya Project, Gaudi, Liquid Bloom, Globular, and numerous other producers from around the world.
Having graced the stages of events such as Ozora Festival (Hungary), Shankra Festival (Switzerland), Envision Festival (Costa Rica), Cosmic Convergence (Guatemala), Tribal Gathering (Panama), Psy-Fi (Netherlands), Eclipse Festival (Canada), Spirit of Suwannee (FL), Sonic Bloom (CO), Oregon Eclipse (OR), Burning Man (NV), Lucidity (CO), Infrasound (WC), and Arise (CO), and with appearances on some of the world’s most esteemed psychedelic labels, including Desert Tax, Merkaba Music, Sofa Beats, and Liquid Sound Design, Living Light has developed a sound that transcends any singular locale and which offers listeners a truly global experience regardless of the ground on which they stand.
