Pete Bromley has been Stoke On Trent's top House DJ since 1989 and it has been an interesting and varied journey for him! Resident DJ at Stoke's first successful Underground Dance night 'Introspective' back in 1989 he went on to play at the infamous Shelleys Laserdome as well as other influential clubnights across the UK. Pete's next residency was to be at the Freetown in Hanley which would see him play alongside DJ's like Sasha & Dave Seaman. This would become the stepping stone to his next residency, the legendary Golden. Pete was the main resident DJ at Golden for an amazing 11 years which saw him play with the worlds biggest DJ's bar none. During this time he played many guest appearances at places such as Cream, Renaissance, Ministry Of Sound and DJ magazine listed him as one of the most popular resident DJ's in the world, resulting in his Essential Mix live on Radio 1 alongside Pete Tong at Sankeys in 1996. Quite an accolade seeing as he has never bolstered his career with international gigs, remixes or a recording career as 99% of producer/DJ's do these days. After Golden's demise In 2003, Pete then went on to become one of the resident DJ's at Satchmo's which has now become part of Stoke clubbing folkelore and his position has been cemented over the last years as resident DJ for the Move and their parties at The Sugarmill, Spode Warehouse & The Underground  playing alongside Jamie Jones, Patrick Topping, Solardo, Skream, Annie Mac, Derrick Carter, Pete Tong, MK, Todd Terry, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Brothers, Steve Lawler, Hot Since 82, Eats Everything, Darius Syrossian,Micheal Bibi, Alan Fitzpatrick, wAFF,  Dimitri From Paris, Kenny Dope, Low Steppa, Dan Shake amongst dozens of House musics elite. DJing for over 30 years, Mark’s held many residences at clubs such as Ricky's, The Warehouse, The Gallery, Highflyers, Soak, Kaos, Ark and the Glasshouse, playing alongside the likes of Sasha, Dave Seaman, Graeme Park, Allister Whitehead, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Paul Oakenfold, Carl Cox, K-Klass and has graced the decks at some of the UK’s key clubs such as Pacha, Gatecrasher & Tall Trees. 

In recent years Mark has made regular appearances at a variety of club nights across the north of England at LTD Addiction, Shine, House Arrest, Love to Be and Reborn. He’s also taken centre stage at Leeds Pride showcasing his skills to more that 20’000 revellers. Mark has also hosted his own internet radio shows booking some of the worlds biggest DJs including Kurd Maverick, Dave Seaman, Utah Saints, Disfunktion, Dan Castro, Prok and Fitch, Hard Rock Sofa and Mason. 

Mark continues to perform at various events and currently holds residency Revisited at the Leeds Warehouse mixing up a cocktail of uplifting, hands-in- the-air house music alongside other DJ legends.

Not Forgotten is the glory years of house music, relived, revived and remembered.

Never a day goes by, without considering myself incredibly lucky. I was one of the millions, out there on the dance floor, eyes closed, hands in the air, completely absorbed by a new kind of electronic music. The sound was house. It was loud, it was hypnotic and an entire generation was moved by its beat. Those who were there were probably witnessing the last great cultural uprising this country will ever see. Whether it was Hip House, Chicago House, Acid House, Italian Piano, New Beat, or a hundred other variations on the House theme, the effect it had on us was the same. Pure euphoria. These were crazy days and even crazier nights. The convoys, the warehouse parties, the clubs, the vinyl, the camaraderie and the sense of belonging. These are moments that should not be forgotten. In fact, they should be celebrated as the best days of our lives.

Our Facebook Group is a celebration of the tunes that keep on being amazing. Many have faded away, probably the really shit ones, the stupid 150bpm ones and the make purely for profit ones. But from 86 to 95, there was some amazing house music made. We want to cherry pick and keep on playing and talking about the best. We are DJ's who won't just settle for the Anthems everyone knows. We want to dig deeper and re-discover those lost gems and sometimes refresh and re-edit when we need to. The house that Jack built has stood for many, many years. Some people have moved out. I started DJing in 1991 going on to have residencies for Up Yer Ronson in Leeds, Pacha @ The End and Heaven in London.  

I played with the likes of Sasha, John Digweed, BT, David Morales, Paul Oakenfold, Fathers Of Sound, Jeremy Healy, Alister Whitehead, Danny Tenaglia and many others.

Other clubs I played at include Amnesia in Ibiza, Sugar Shack at the Empire, Renaissance at The Cross, Club UK, Ripe and the Hacienda.
