Loving someone who is lost can make you lose yourself. This song is about being young and caught in a relationship with someone addicted, manipulative, and impossible to hold onto. It’s about the gaslighting, the emotional paralysis, and the painful kind of loneliness that comes when love keeps you frozen in time.

I wrote this song as a way to process the feeling of being trapped in a cycle of love, addiction, and self-doubt. It’s about wanting to move forward but being pulled back into the same patterns over and over again.
